The Switch Up

Chapter 1

"Oh My Gosh! Are you serious?!" I yelled with excitement with a huge smile on my face.

"Yes, you're going to England, You leave next week" My mother tells me.

"So you will be staying at you're father's house for a year then back here and so on." She says & that's when my smile faded into a frown.

Last year mom & dad got a terrible  divorce so now I have to spend a year with mom here in Santa Barba, California then dad in England & so on until I'm 18 which is in 4 years then I can choose to live with who ever I want but when I'm 18 I'll be in university & I'll be going my own way. I'm the only child which makes it harder for my parents now because once someone doesn't have me the other parent is lonely. It's hard being the only child I get extremely lonely sometimes more like all the time especially when mom's at work she's a bartender. Dad was the money maker in this house hold since mom doesn't have a good paying job she didn't go to college because she got knocked up with the greatest gift of all time me she was 18 at the time & dad was in his late 20s. I don't really have friends well I thought I did but their all fake friends they talk shit about me behind my back literally, this one time at school I was talking to one of 'my friend Nicole' & when I  turned around she was telling some guys in my class that I have AIDS. Like what the hell I have never had a boyfriend let alone had sex with someone, people believed her they thought I had boyfriends every week I'm not like other girls in my class I actually have class.

Ever since my dad moved to England ive never visited, we only video chatted but the last time I video chatted with him was a week after he moved & its been a whole year. Im actually pretty excited to see him but mad at the same time because he was having an affair with his patient who was a minor I know how gross is that. He got arrested & that's when mom filed for a divorce, I didn't take it to good I lost it. Mom thought I needed a therapist she taught me that I should love him no matter what he has done because it was a mistake but it was hard mom was hurt really bad.

After me & mom talked more about me leaving for a year, we shed some tears, hugged & laughed then I went up to my room to start packing. I packed clothes obviously, some pictures of mom & everyday things like my makeup & hair products. I'm  sad that I Will be leaving my mom she's been my one & only true friend I'm sad that she wont be celebrating my 15th birthday with me. I continue to pack not knowing what I needed to bring for a whole year because I have never been away for so long before in my life. Mom gave me some emergency for clothes & whatever I needed. 

* A WEEK LATER AT THE AIRPORT *

We got at the airport late so now I have 20 minutes to make it in the plane. After I said my goodbye to mom I was rushing to make it to gate 15, I asked everyone for the directions but they were giving me different directions. On my way going the direction this young woman told me to go, I bumped into this most handsome hazel eyed, brown hair guy, & both of our luggages went flying in the air.

"Im so sorry." I said while picking up my luggages.

"Haha no I'm sorry I should have been paying attention, I'm just trying to get to the plane, where are you headed?" He asks in a sexy deep but not to deep British accent.

"Oh I'm going to London,England could you help me find my gate" I replied.

"Oh really so am I, just follow me." He says back in the adorable British accent.

I follow him, it was about a good 5 minute walk.

"Here's you're gate I hope you enjoy yourself" he says.

"Wait, you said you were going to England too" I say in confusion.

"I am, I'm just taking a different way in" He replys.

He walks away a couple doors down going through a 2 door entrance. Why is he going a different way in was he lying about going to London or is he special or something? I thought to myself while sitting in my assigned seat.
