Chapter 11

I woke up to the smell of pancakes, which is the best way to wake up knowing that there's food already made for you when you wake up hungry. I got ready & went to the kitchen, everyone was there including Hollie & Donavon the 2 people in this house that I feel awkward with. GREAT! I sat in my seat which is beside Donavon asking him to pass the syrup which he did but it's because he didn't want to make a scene. I could tell he was still mad about last night I could see it I his face, Hollie was staring at me & asked why I'm dressed up I told her that I was going to a friend's house. I don't know why but everyone shot up & looked at me, I know what they were thinking they were thinking 'what Megan has a friend.' Then she asked me "Are you going to Brooklyn's house?" "Yeah" I replied. Then we all said what are plans were for today & dad asked us kids if we wanted to do something with him the next day. Everyone one else had plans expect for me I'm looking forward with us having fun tomorrow, it's been a long time since we had father-daughter time. Soon enough I finished & went back to my room. A couple minutes passed by until I heard a knock on thee door it was Brooklyn. I said "You could of just texted me that you're outside" he replied back saying "I'm an old fashion kind of guy sometimes, where are you're parents?" "My dad, why do you ask?" I ask. "Just wanted to greet them" he says back. I close the door laughing & walking towards the sport car, he speed walks to the passenger seat to open the door for me he's such a gentleman. We had a quick stop at Starbucks I got a Caramel Ribbon Crunch®  & he got a Caramel Frappuccino®  then we off I thought we were going to his house but we were headed to the London eye. I knew it has huge but up close it was massive I can't believe I'm going to go on it good thing I'm not afraid of heights. We didn't have to wait in line for a long time because Brooklyn purchase the Flexi Fast Track which got us in under 10 minutes. The view of the river was amazing, we toke photos lots of them on his phone because he has the iPhone 6 which is great for pictures. It was kind of hard to have fun when every teenage girl wants to take a picture with him every minute but other than that I had a lot of fun. "I don't want to go" I say while walking to his car. "We can always come back" he says reassuring me while closing my door. This time we were actually going to his house, after 15 minutes of us talking we arrived to his house. When we got inside everyone came from where ever they were to greet me it's so welcoming I love it, even Harper came she gave me a big hug I guess she remembers me. We all watched a movie in the theater as in all I meant the whole family plus me & Brooklyn I'm not complaining because I love this family their so outgoing & welcoming. After the movie everyone went their separate ways me & Brooklyn went to the backyard I didn't bring my swimsuit so we didn't swim instead we dipped our feet in the water. We talked & toke selfies, then Cruz came & we toke selfies with him as well. They decided to teach me some soccer skills they even called in Romeo who was the best at soccer out of his brothers. They taught me how to pass even though I already know they though that I didn't pass good enough. After they taught me some skills we went on to the tricks they taught me some tricks like the scissors, stepover & the fake kick well they tired to teach me. The only thing I could do was the fake kick which was very simple. After that they taught me all the positions & what they do Romeo told me he plays centre forward on his school soccer team. After all the teaching I played one on one with all of them & lost to all of them I knew that would happen but it was fun. Then David, Victoria & Harper came to the backyard as well & played in the pool while we went on the trampoline & oh my goodness David's abs were amazing. I guess Brooklyn got hot & sweaty so he toke off his shirt which I don't mind because he has great abs like his father. It turns out that Brooklyn doesn't know to do a backflip which surprised me because he has this huge trampoline & he can easily hire a gymnast to help him. I taught him how to do it but it was hard because I'm not the best at teaching but after hours & many failed attempts he got it & did it way better than I could ever do he's a fast learner when it comes to physical activities. We had a flip face off which I won, I guess those 7 years of gymnastics payed off. Time flew by very fast before I knew it, it was time for me to leave I was sad when we said our goodbye's I almost started crying I love it here especially because it's not wired & awkward here. When Brooklyn was driving me back home he said "When should we do this again?" "Maybe the next day after tomorrow" I replied. "I have a soccer game to attend with my dad, you should come with us" he says with a smile on his face. "Are you sure you're dad would be okay with me coming?" I ask. "Yes he would be very happy if you came, my parents love you" he says which made me blush like David & Victoria Beckham love me it's unbelievable. A couple weeks ago back when I was in California I was a nobody like I had absolutely no friends unless you count fake friends & now I'm hanging with the Beckham it's like I've been given a new identity. "I've never been to an official soccer game before, what should I wear?" I ask. "Anything you want it's not like you're playing" he replies. "Alright text me the details" I say back, he nods. I soon arrived back home just in time for dinner, I got dressed in my comfy clothes (my pajamas) & made my way to the kitchen. Linda was the only one there she was still cooking, I helped with setting up the table I usually don't do this kind of stuff but I was in a good mood I had a really fun day with Brooklyn. Then I went up stairs & told everyone it was time for dinner, the dinner table was quiet dad asked me what I did with Brooklyn today. I told him that we went to the London eye & as soon as I finished my sentence everyone's eyes were on me like they were really shocked "Have you guys went it's breath taking" I say remembering early this day when I went with Brooklyn. "No there's to much of a line" Dad replies. "Oh, Brooklyn bought the fast lane we waited for about 10 minutes." I say back. The conversation died down, then Hollie & Donavon shared about their day apparently Hollie was hanging at her friends house & Donavan went over to his girlfriends house. I bet they didn't have as much fun as I did, after dinner I headed to my room to take a shower. When I came out of the bathroom I heard a knocked on my door, I opened it holding on to my towel. It was Hollie she asked if Romeo asked of her, I didn't know what to say if I say no she would think that he doesn't like her but if I say yes she would think that he likes her more than a friend. I had to tell the truth & tell her he didn't ask of her. When I told her she got completely quiet & left almost like she was shocked & left. After I got my pajamas on I walked to the living room because it was colder there than my room. I was reading a fan fiction story that Hollie's friend made on Wattpad about David Beckham it was actual pretty good. It was about David & this character Mabel who were friends since they've been teenagers but David moves suddenly & Mabel's on a journey to find him. I read maybe about 8 chapters before I got a text nonfiction on my phone it was from Brooklyn it read have you seen the news on TV? No why? I replied he just told me to turn the channel to channel 4 news, I quickly turned on the TV to check out what he was talking about. The headline was 'Brooklyn's New Lover!' my jaw dropped I knew it was about going to be about me & surly I was correct. They showed pictures of me & Brooklyn at the London Eye even ones when we were in it, when we were there I didn't see any paparazzi's so I think that's why I was so shocked. I texted back Brooklyn and said 'at least they got my good side lol but talk about privacy'. He replied back saying the only privacy I get is at home, I get it you don't want to be my friend paparazzi's get in the way of everything & make up lies sometimes it gets very annoying.  I replied back saying don't worry I'm still going to be you're friend no paparazzi is going to get in the way of our friendship. I'm glad to hear that are we still on for Friday? He asks. For sure! But what are we suspifily doing?  I replied back. He didn't reply back instead he called & said we are going to watch the game, play a little & my father & I have to signed autographs. Play? I can't play soccer & what I'm I supposed to wear? I say in panic. Don't worry you'll be fine they'll give you clothes to wear he says reassuring me. Should I be worried or excited? I ask & he says worried. Well thanks, I hate you I say while hanging up on him. Then I continued reading the Wattpad story until I feel asleep.
