Chapter 9 # Noble Wyrdeer's Thanks

Intro

It's been few weeks since Ashton,Rei and Akari started surveying pokémon in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Rei do most of the Survey work alone as he is a very good in Pokémon battle. Akari on the other hand isn't very good at battling. So she works with Ashton.

In one beautiful morning, Ashton is heading for the training area. He could notice the stares the villagers are giving at him. He knows that  most of the villagers hasn't accepted him yet. To them he is an outsider. They aren’t  happy to have him here. But they don't want to go against the Commander. Ashton has got used to all the stares and whispers. When he reached  the training area,he met a woman with vibrant red hair. She is Zisu, the Captain of the Security Corps.

[ Zisu ]

"Morning Zisu," he said.

"Morning Ashton," Zisu said,"What brings you here? "

"You are a master of an ancient martial art - one that specializes in Pokemon battles." Ashton said," I want some advice."

"Now listen - if your Pokemon's truly mastered its moves, it can actually use them in different styles," Zisu started," On the one hand, you can choose to deliver a move in the strong style. The move will deal more damage, but afterward, it'll take longer for your Pokemon to act. On the other hand, you can choose to unleash a move in the agile style. Such a move will have less power behind it, but your Pokemon can act more quickly afterward. In truly favorable conditions, it might even get out two moves before the opponent can act."

"That will be nice, we were also confused about those two since our Research tasks require them," Ashton said," But Strong Style moves, agile style moves, and regular moves...there are so many we can choose."

"Choose which is right for a given situation, and direct your Pokemon with a little nudge." Zisu nods. "And one more thing - if you want to teach your Pokemon some powerful moves, just let me know."

"Thanks for the advice," Ashton said before leaving.

As he left the training ground, he saw Akari is walking towards him.
