Chapter 10 # The Protector of the forest

Intro

Rei was doing Survey work in the middle of a forest.Since Akari is more interested in working with Ashton instead of him, he have to work alone. Not completely alone, he has his Pokémon to help him. During his work He has found an injured Wyrdeer and help it to heal. After that, he captured it. So now all 3 Survey corp members have two Pokémon each. But since he has a pokémon to ride on, he can now travel faster and further. He opened his map and marked the place where he was. Suddenly, he was interrupted by a loud scream, coming from the forest he followed the scream and found a young woman on the ground, bloody wounds all over her body.

The boy ran to her and asked, "Hey! Are you alright?!"

The young woman, clearly debilitated, managed to whisper,"The king of forest... help him..."

"You need help," he said.

He quickly collect some cotton gauzes from his pocket to help her a branch strong enough to be a crutch for the girl.

"Are you feeling better?" asked Rei, giving the girl the bottle of water after treating her wounds.

The young woman gladly accepted and drank a bit before answering with a timid nod.

"You are the leader of the Pearl Clan,am i correct? " Rei asked

Said woman was a shoulder long haired blonde girl with light blue eyes. Her skin was very pale and seemed soft and tender.

She had a red kimono top and hakama pants.

Three big bracelets were on her wrists and on her left ankle.

" You are right,"she answered, "I'm Irida."

[ Irida ]

"What happened? " Rei asked.

"Lord Kleavor happened ," she replied, " We, of Clan Pearl worship him as the protector of forests. He is a gift form the Almighty Sinnoh, but he was struck by one of those thunders come out from that rift"
