I N A Y A

As I walked inside, Ahad was there talking to Nayla, SMILING! And she was constantly trying to step closer to him. Is he acting, or is he really oblivious to it?

I so wanna punch his handsome face until he's unable to do so, but why take the harder way when I have an easier one. I smirked and walked towards them. Both of them looked at me as I stood beside Ahad and smiled at Nayla.

I looked at him, intertwining our fingers. I spoke innocently, "Can we go? I'm sleepy".

He was visibly stunned by my behaviour and Nayla was already seething with anger or.... Jealousy!

"Okay then... I'll talk to you tomorrow, Nayla". He said calmly and my hold around his hand tightened, unable to hold back the urge to punch anyone infront of me now.

He smiled at me and we began walking upstairs, BUT! Nayla had other plans.

"What's 'my man' drama when you're afraid he'll leave you". That was what I heard, enough to get on my nerves.

I left his hand and said, "You go, I'll come in a few minutes". I didn't wait for his reply as I turned around.

"Come again?" I demanded, facing her.

"You're afraid if he talks to me, he'd leave you, because he'll realise there are many better options out there in the world". She scoffed, smiling victoriously.

I clicked my tongue, a sly smirk taking over my lips.

"Really? Or I might just not want him to lower his standards by breathing in the same space as you do". I shot back and her smile faltered, but she was quick to get it back.

She chuckled, "So much trust! Wow. Love is in the air".

"I wish logic was, then I would've suggested you to grab some if possible". I said and rolled my eyes, ready to walk back.

But then, I turned around for a final word. "And... about having options! In his case, the only option and only choice is Me". I smiled a little extra-sweetly and made my way upstairs.

Now it was his turn! My Lovely Husband. Here I come!!

As I walked inside, he was standing leaning back on the nearest wall, his arms were folded on his chest and lips etched into a devilish smirk. I rolled my eyes and walked inside. I decided to deal with him in my way but I'll give him the silent treatment now.

As I was about to cross him, he leaned forward and grabbed me closer to him by my waist. I gasped at the sudden swing, my hands instinctively went on his chest to maintain the distance.

"Someone's getting all fiesty, I see!!". He husked, leaning closer.

I know my insides are overly activated now, but I won't let him get that satisfaction! I kept on the blunt expression and spoke, "Leave me". My tone was rougher than I thought it would be.

His smirk widened as he whispered, "You were sleepy right? Let me put you sleep hmm? Should I sing a lullaby or tell you a bed time story?"

My glare intensified, "Accha! Aap ye bedtime stories na jaa ke uss Nayla ko sunao".
(Really? Go and tell these bedtime stories to that Nayla)
