Chapter 1 CLUES

It started out as an ordinary morning. Delphine did as she normally would. Right in the middle of her Sunday morning cartoons something felt strange.
Delphine starts "I didn't hear the normal bickering between my parents that forced me to turn up the volume on my cartoon."
Delphine, I thought we made an agreement. You come in durning the next chapter, remember.
"Okay, okay. Sometimes my excitement gets the better of me." Delphine apologized.
Okay as I was saying, something felt strange. Usually by now she would have she would have tried to sneak up and eavesdrop on her parents conversation, but then later have her cover blown by her brother or sister. She atomically thought that they went out before she woke up it was the only thing she could think of at the moment.
"That's not how it went went." Delphine budding in.
You know what I quit. You tell them the story.
"Well, thank you. After I didn't noticed any yelling, I decided to search around. I turned the house upside down. I mean literally; the house was a complete mess. If it does turn out they went to run an errand, I'm dead.
Then I headed over to the laundry room, at least I could clean. I stumbled upon a piece of paper. It was labeled URGENT. The first thing that crossed my mind was why would they put it in the laundry room. Okay back to the note. It read:
Delphine if you find this please help. We were taken by government agents. We have left clues around the house. First clue is were the beast sleeps.

Well that was easy. It's obviously the dog's little corner. As I sneaked over to my dog's corner by the hallway leading to all of our bed rooms, I wonder what the government would want with my parents. They don't do anything out of the ordinary. Then I thought, what if they were spies!They're not cool enough to be spies. You saw what I did there right. As nicely as I could, I moved my dog over just a bit to retrieve the next clue. It read:
This decoder and lie detector will help you go further on your mission. To find your next clue go into the forbidden layer.
         I'm really starting to rethink the whole spy thing.
          Now back to the clue. What could be the forbidden layer. The only place I know I'm forbidden from is my brother's room. There was this whole thing with some goo. It was not pretty. Luckily neither my brother nor my sister are here. So I would totally get away with sneaking into his room, it's not like he has lasers in his room. Wait, does he. I guess I will just have to find out myself.
           I enter my brother's room trying my best not to move anything. If I slightly change the angle of a book on his book shelf he would know. He's a stickler for such minor details like that, even through this plethora of a mess. How can I search for the clue in this mess without moving anything. After thinking for a minute, I decided to man up and look for the clue. It was way more important. After searching and trying to place things back where they were for half an hour, I finally found the next clue:
I have left you with a scanner and one more clue. Look where no man dare to ever go. The danger zone.
Dare to ever go. I tried my best to find out where that was. I lost many precious minutes on the last clue. Either my parents were on the line or a really cool scavenger hunt prize. I paced back and forth until I noticed a sign on my sister's door. It said danger zone. I went in and first thing I noticed was a shoe box labeled OPEN NOW. So I did. Inside was:
-4 ear pieces
-3 laser devices
- powder
-utility belt
And many more things
        The one thing that was left on my mind was. Who would be on my team.
