Coming Home (Jiper)

Piper's POV

I stood in the airport, tapping my foot nervously.  I couldn't wait for the plane to land, for Jason to walk through the terminal.  I watched the arrival/departure board anxiously.  A new flight flashed onto the screen.  I checked the number on my wrist.  Nope,  I thought, not his flight.  Jason was flying in from Atlanta.  We currently lived in L. A. but I really wanted to move.  I wanted to make a life with Jason, have a future, start a family.  But all that had to wait.  I couldn't wait for Jason to finally come home.  I glanced up at the flight board again.  The newest flight flashed and I took off running.  Jason's flight had landed and he was finally home.  He had finally come home to me.  I reach the gate in time to see a blonde, uniformed man walking out of the tunnel.  He had a duffel bag slung over his shoulder and his piercing blue eyes scanned the area.

"Jason!" I yelled, not slowing down.  He dropped his bag and ran towards me.  I jumped into his arms, tears forming in my eyes.

"I missed you so much, Piper," He whispered in my ear.  I nuzzled my head deeper into his neck, trying the make up for the months that I hadn't been able to hold him, cuddle with him.

After a few minutes, Jason pulled away.  He held me at arm's length and just looked at me.  "God.  I can't believe that we're actually together," he whispered, like if he spoke too loudly I would disappear. 

"I can't believe you're here," I told him.  "I can't believe you're ok."

Instead of answering me, Jason pulled me in for a long kiss.  My hands wrapped around his neck and he held me around my waist, pulling me closer.

After what seemed like forever (not that I minded), we ran out of breath.  We came up panting.  Jason wrapped his arm around my waist, tugging me into his side.  We walked over and Jason picked up his bag.

I kissed his cheek and Jason said the words I had been dreaming about since he got deployed.  Jason looked me in the eyes and said, "Piper, let's go home."

A/N: Did I give you Jiper feels?  I'm not sure if I got everything exactly correct so let me know if something needs fixed.  I'd be glad to change it.  So Jason was in the army and this was his homecoming.  I thought this was really cute and I want to dedicate this to all the people in the military, military families, and people who have a loved on in the military.  We couldn't have the life we do without your service and sacrifice and I am eternally grateful.  I really hope you enjoy.
