Rin's POV

I felt like was going to faint. But when Kaya swung her bat in the air everything was black. I felt no pain. I woke up in an unfamiliar bed. There were no bruises on me. I didn't feel like I was just hit with a baseball bat. Well, maybe I wasn't. Maybe Kaya and Dad were just a dream. I was covered in a bed sheet. When I looked under, I was half naked. "What in the world?" I muttered to myself. "Hey what's wrong?" I heard a familiar voice asked me. (So. Freaking. Awkward) I looked up and I saw Len. With a poker face on. I started to get a bit worried now.

He was shirtless. Which scared me. I hid in the sheets again. My face as red as a tomato. "W-What did you just do?" I asked and hugged my knees. Len lifted the bed sheets and my face grew red again as I rocked back and forth. "I'm only 17. I'm only 17. I'm only 17!!!!!!!!" I screamed and Len lifted up my chin and smirked. He leaned in to kiss me. Which was odd because, I liked the kiss. But then after that I woke up screaming. My clothes were still on. Thank. God.

"Are you okay?" The same voice asked me. I screamed again and hid my face with a pillow. "You said we would have a fresh start as friends. You said....." I trailed off rocking back and forth again hugging my knees. I was on a bed again. But this time with my clothes on. "I-I'm only 17!!!!" I screamed and Len sat next to me patting my back. "Don't touch me!!!!" "Rin. That was just a dream. Whatever it was about. Just a dream. Because you fainted when you saw my auntie's face," Len said and I sighed in relief. "So what was this dream even about?" Len asked and I blushed a furious red.

"Do you really want to know?" I asked him and he nodded. I inhaled sharply and explained everything. Len looked like he was about to pass out. "Um...what kind of mind do you have in that nutshell, Rin?" Len asked seriously then laughed at the end. "I'm just kidding. It's fine. It's just a dream. Most of it doesn't happen. Unless...." Len trailed off and smirked and I hit him with a pillow. "Jeez your gross you perve!" I said and he put one hand up saying he was kidding. I got off from the bed and walked downstairs. When I saw her. Kaya.

"Oh hello Len! Rin are you okay?" Kaya asked me and I clenched my fists and muttered cuss words under my breath. This was the girl that cheated with my dad. How did she know my name? It was probably my dad that told her. "I-I'm sorry but I think I need to go," I said and stormed off to the door. "Look before you say anything just please understand what your father thought of me!" Kaya said and I shook my head and ran to the door and opened it. "Rin honestly what's wrong?" Len asked and I turned back to look at him. "Father? What is my auntie talking about?" Len asked me and I shrugged. "Len. I'll explain to you," Kaya said and Len shook his head. "I want to hear from Rin," Len said and I bit my lip and fumbled my fingers to try and reach the doorknob. But I had to tell him. But I couldn't.

"Your Auntie, Kaya. My dad cheated on my mom with her," I said and Kaya shook her head. "No your wrong. What he did-" I cut her off and tears formed in my eyes. "I saw all the texts! I saw everything!" I yelled and Kaya shook her head. "In those texts, I was drunk. I was DRUNK because of my alcohol problem. I had a husband before Rikuto. He was a kind and loving man and would even accept me with my drinking problem. Then one day I was at a party held at this house. I drank a lot. Then your father was there. Then I went into a closet to find something when your father started..." Kaya trailed off. This whole time I thought Kaya was a bad guy. "My husband saw the two of us and he said to call a divorce. My drinking problem got worse and it made me send those stupid texts. I couldn't think straight. Your father was so abusive. I couldn't live," Kaya said and started to cry. But tears fell out of my eyes too. So it was all my dad's fault. He was the only traitor. Not Kaya?

"I-I'm sorry about my father. I-I'm sorry for hitting you with a baseball bat when my mom snuck into your house." I said. "Wait, what?" Len asked. "I'm sorry for everything that happened to you, Kaya. I just had trust issues. My whole family was hurt. My brother broke up with his girlfriend. My mom had her own husband cheating on her. I was the only one in the family who healed from my pain," I said and took a little glance at Len. He forced a smile. "Rin, all of this shouldn't have happened to you. I'm sorry about your father causing you pain at this young age," Kaya said and all of a sudden we broke into huge tears and hugged each other. Crying on each other's backs. It actually felt good to forgive. Then I heard the door open.
