Yeah I just came up with this when I saw a comment of somebody wanting an Ennead x Totcf crossover
OUT OF CHARACTER CHARACTERS ❗❗
Intro
Please come up with suggestions of what they should react to and what I should add/improve
Focused on Anubis
The gods of Egypt found themselves abruptly teleported into a large, ethereal room, shimmering with light that seemed to pulse with divine energy. Osiris stood tall, regal and composed, with Isis beside him, her gaze sharp with curiosity. Horus scanned the room with a warrior’s precision, while Ra’s fiery aura flickered faintly with intrigue. Seth lounged against a wall, already bored, and Nephthys stayed close to Osiris, her expression unreadable.
Anubis, the God of Death, stood awkwardly in the middle of the group, glancing around nervously. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, muttering under his breath, “What is this place?”
Before anyone could answer, another group materialized on the opposite side of the room. The clash of divinity and mortal aura was immediate.
Cale Henituse, the slacker hero, sighed loudly as he scanned the unfamiliar faces of the Ennead. “Why does this keep happening to me?”
“Cale-nim,” Choi Han said quietly, placing a hand on his sword hilt. “They seem powerful.”
Cage, the priestess of the God of Death, blinked, her mouth falling slightly open as her gaze landed on Anubis. “Wait… is that…?”
Raon Miru, the six-year-old black dragon, puffed out his chest and declared, “I, the great and mighty Raon Miru, will protect everyone!”
Alberu Crossman, with his usual elegance, crossed his arms and studied the Ennead warily.
Rosalyn, the brilliant mage, narrowed her eyes. “Interesting. There’s a lot of divine energy here.”
Eruhaben, the ancient gold dragon, looked mildly amused as he glanced at Anubis. “Young godlings are always so awkward. How nostalgic.”
Anubis’s golden jackal ears twitched, and he stammered, “I—I don’t know what’s happening! I swear I didn’t do this!”
Cale raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. “You’re saying the God of Death doesn’t know why we’re all here?”
Cage frowned, stepping closer to Anubis. “This can’t be the same Anubis from the future. He’s so… unsure of himself.”
“Future?” Horus spoke up, his hawk-like eyes narrowing. “What do you mean, mortal? You’ve met Anubis before?”
“Oh, yes,” Cage said with a smirk. “But he’s nothing like this. The Anubis I know is confident, charming, and lights up every room he enters.”
Isis tilted her head, her gaze sharpening. “Charming, you say? This Anubis?”
Seth barked a laugh, crossing his arms. “This is hilarious. Our awkward little death god becomes the life of the party? I’ll believe it when I see it.”
Cale muttered under his breath, “I don’t see it either.”
Choi Han looked apologetic. “He must grow into it.”
Ra, finally stepping forward, his fiery presence commanding attention, addressed the room. “Enough. Why have we been brought here, and who are you to claim familiarity with my grandson?”
Cale exchanged a glance with Alberu, who shrugged slightly. Cale sighed again. “We’re acquaintances of the future Anubis. Honestly, I have no idea why we’re here, but it’s usually for some ridiculous reason that ends with me getting dragged into more work.”
Rosalyn smiled wryly. “It’s true. We tend to attract chaos.”
Nephthys studied them carefully, her voice calm but firm. “Future Anubis, you say? Then this gathering is no accident. The Fates must want us to see something about him.”
Anubis looked horrified, his golden eyes wide. “No! That’s not necessary. I’m fine the way I am!”
Cage snickered. “Don’t worry, Anubis. You grow out of this awkward phase. Kind of.”
Raon tilted his head. “Why is the God of Death so nervous? He should be like the great and mighty Raon Miru!”
Eruhaben chuckled. “He’s young. Give him a few centuries, little one.”
Seth grinned wickedly, leaning closer to Anubis. “Don’t worry, nephew. We’ll be here to make sure you grow into your potential. Every. Step. Of. The. Way.”
Anubis groaned, hiding his face in his hands. “This is going to be a nightmare.”
Cale leaned against a wall, watching the chaos unfold with a resigned expression. “Welcome to my life, kid. You’ll get used to it.”
