Part 21

Ayla POV:
It's currently 4:30 and I just finished getting ready. I walk out of the bedroom and go downstairs.

When I got downstairs, Maeve is there holding a bouquet of flowers and a letter in a light blue envelope.

ML: Hi Babi!
A: Hi? (Confused tone)
ML: Before we go I want to give you this letter I wrote for you and of course the flowers. But the letter I don't want you to read it just yet.

Maeve hands me the letter and I put it inside my bag. Meanwhile I put the flowers in a vase.

ML: Are you ready? Let's go.
A: (nods)

Maeve POV:
I bring her to the car and I start to drive to our first destination.

ML: Babi? You're so tahimik. Are you ok?
A: Bakit?
ML: Ano? Bakit? Like are you feeling ok?
A: Ya.
ML: But why are you so tahimik?
A: Wala. I'm shocked.
ML: Why?
A: You're acting so odd today.
ML: I just want to do something special to my Babi.
A: Ah ok. (Confused tone)
ML: How this nalang? You can sleep and I'll wake you up when we get to the restaurant. Deal?
A: Deal.

I hold Ayla's hand and she falls asleep.

After 30 minutes, we finally arrive to the restaurant.

ML: Babi. Wake up na po.
A: (grunts)
ML: We're here na po.
A: Opo. I'm awake na.
ML: Sure?
A: Yes po.
ML: Ok then. Please wait there.
A: Huh?

I get out the car and I walk around to the other side. I open Aylas door and I help her get out.

A: Thank you!
ML: Of course. You are my princess after all.

Ayla POV:
Maeve helps me get out the car and we walk inside the restaurant.

A: (in head) Shit ang Ganda.

We get seated and look through the menu.

A: (in head) shit ang mahal ng pagkain dito.

Maeve POV:
I look at Ayla and she seems like she can't chose anything to eat.

ML: Babi? Are you sure you're ok? Because if you're not I can just cancel what we are doing tonight.
A: I'm ok. Pero, one question. Mahal ba talaga dito?
ML: Ya. Why?
A: Parang it's too expensive na dito. Usually when we go out it's just those simple restaurants.
ML: No it's ok. I want this to be a special and memorable day. And tomorrow's graduation and then it's our wedding. I just don't want you to be stressed.
A: Awwwwww. Thank you Babi.

The waiter comes over and gets our order.

After 15 minutes our food finally arrives. We start eating and Ayla starts talking about how excited she is to get married and finish school.

After an hour, me and Ayla finish our food and we head out. We get into the car and I start to drive to our next destination.

ML: Was the food good?
A: Ya. Are we going home na ba?
ML: No I want to take you to the beach. We'll watch the sunset.
A: Awww ok.

I drive to the beach and I realized we are kinda late for the sunset.

ML: I think we're a bit late for the sunset, but do you still want to walk around?
A: Ya. You made these plans just for us so I will do anything kahit it's not what you were planning to do.

Ayla POV:
We walk around and I see a tent in the middle of the beach.

A: Babi look! (Points to tent)
ML: Wow. Gusto mo pumunta dun.
A: Can we?
ML: Ya let's go.

We walk over to the tent and it say's "Marry Me?"

A: Awwww. I wonder who this is for.
ML: Babi?

I turn around and Maeve is on his knee and he is holding a ring.

A: Shit. (Starts tearing up)
ML: Hi my Babi, my princess, my first love, my greatest love and my one and only love. You may not believe what I'm about to say but we have actually have known each other since we were kids and I had the fattest crush on you and I still have that crush to this day. But unfortunately when we were 7 I had to move away and we have never spoke to each other ever again. But luckily my parents decided to move back here and I got to see the love of my life again. I'm sorry for bullying you last school year. I just didn't want to be too obvious that I like you. Anyways back to my point. I want to spent every year, every month, every week, everyday, every hour, every minute, every second and every millisecond with you. I promise to love you all day everyday. I promise to never hurt you and I will never ever try to fight you. And I promise to not be too makulit. Now you know the letter I gave you before we left the house? Can you please open it now? And read it out loud.
A: (opens letter) Will you marry me?
ML: We didn't have a proper proposal so I decided to give you a proper one so, WILL YOU MARRY ME?
A: (nods) YES!!!!! (Crying)

He stands up and we kiss.

Suddenly I hear clapping. So I break the kiss and I see all our friends there.

A: Why are they here?
ML: I know Mila, Stella and Sage are really important to you so I invited them and of course my friends too because we are all very close now.
A: AWWWW BABI!!!!
MR: Congrats sa Inyo.
SS: OMG!!!!
SC: CONGRATS!!!!!
J: Congrats sa Inyo. Di ko alam na Kaya pala ni Maeve mag speech ng ganyan.
C: Na shock ako. Pero Congrats.
G: Congrats Bro and Ayla. Bebe next tayo.
A: Hoy! NO! Wag pa Stella. Sya last.
G: Joke lang yun.

We all talked for a bit and we all headed home.
