It's the first day of Junior year. Though I don't want to see him, my boyfriend, Gelo. What if he hits me even in school? Speaking of Gelo, he texted me.
Babe
G: Fuck Ayla
A: Why babe?
G: Totoo ba kasama mo si Colin kahapon?!
A: Opo why?
G: Diba sabi ko sayo wag ka sasama dun!
A: I was with Mila too.
G: Ugh I don't want to fight about this now. I'm going to pick you up right now.
When he said that I rushed getting ready and waited for Gelo outside, so that he doesn't get mad at me for taking too long. I waited and waited until he finally arrived.
G: PASOK BILISAN MO NA!!!!!
A: (pumasok sa car)
G: (starts driving) Alam mo. Tangina na papagod na ako sayo.
A: So- Sorry
G: WALA MAGAGAWA YANG SORRY MO!!!!
A: (starts crying)
G: Putangina! Why are you making yourself the victim. When we get to school you better stop crying!
A: Opo.
We finally arrived to school and I'm free from Gelo. But little do I know he is already planning something.
G: (slaps Ayla) Hold my hand.
A: (stopped crying and holds Gelos hand)
We went to class and I got to sit with my friends.
MR: (hugs Ayla) Beh Anyare sayo. You have a lot of bruises.
A: Wala to'.
SS: Pinalo ka ba nya.
A: (nods)
SS: Tangina.
SC: Ay breakup with him na.
A: Di Pwede.
MR: BAKIT NAMAN?!
A: Sabi nya if I break up with him, he will tell everyone I cheated on him.
SS: Tangina.
A: It's ok, I can do this.
The class started and ever since I started dating Gelo we would always sit together. We got to our seats and our teacher started talking.
T: Ok tomorrow we teachers will be picking our Class presidents in each class.
G: (whispers) Sana si Ashley yun.
A: (hears Gelo) (in head) WTF!
T: Although the class president needs to have the highest scores in the class. We will get these grades from last year.
Class: SI AYLA NA YAN!!!!!
A: (in head) If I turn class president ano Kaya Gagawin ni Gelo sakin.
T: But if that person doesn't want to do it, the second smartest will get the title.
G: (whispers to Ayla) DONT YOU DARE SAY YES.
A: (nods)
T: And I have another surprise we have a new student named Maeve Lee.
That's it for now. Ayla will probably have a part two of her POV and then Maeve will get his.
