AKARI
I was back at my usual spot, by the koi fish pond. I wasn't overthinking this time, i was actually just enjoying the breeze, the silence. "Akari." A voice called my name, Neiva. I turned and saw her walking towards me.
"Your brothers are back." She says once she made it to me and slumped in the space next to me. She huffed and i could see she was tired, I turned back to see the house were she came from and realized how close it was. I wanted to laugh at her dramatics but I guess pregnancy does that to you.
I stood and looked at her, noticing her closed eyes, "Are you coming?" I asked and watched as she immediately shook her head, "I'll catch up, just let me catch my breath" she said and I nodded, respecting her wishes and walked towards the house.
As I walked in, I heard voices in the kitchen so that's where I went. I entered and the first thing I saw was Zachariah buried in the fridge, eating anything edible. Alexandros was drinking water and Zachary was sprawled over the counter. Armano was not in the kitchen and Domenico was seated by the dining table, with a bottle of alcohol in front him, as usual.
The first one to notice me was Alexandros, "Hi Akari." He greeted causing everyone to look at me and give their own greetings. I waved in response, "Come sit." Domenico told me and I immediately made my way over and sat in the chair closest to him.
"We found your men, and we wanted to give you the chance to tell us what you wanted us to do with them." Domenico says and stays quiet like the rest of my brothers. The silence lingered in the air for a while until I decided to speak, "Take me to them." I said.
Domenico nodded and took a shot before standing. I followed suit and followed him to wherever he was going. My brothers followed and soon we were in the elevator, Domenico pressed the third floor and the elevator began to move.
Soon enough the elevator doors opened. The smell of blood hung in the air, I could hear chains clicking against each other. As we walked deeper into the hall there were more guards and there were more people standing outside the...cells? We stopped by one of the cells and there were guards outside.
"Mossa." (Move)Domenico commanded and the guards nodded and moved out of the way but not before opening the cell for us. We walked in, there was darkness but the lights were switched on immediately. I saw the men hung from their arms, they look to be passed out. Bruised as well.
I heard a clank of metal and at the end of the room stood Armano, by a huge table filled with a lot of metallic objects. Carefully organized from smallest to biggest, and sharpest to dullest. I flinched when I heard the sound of water pouring harshly, I looked around to see the men wet and they were slowly waking up.
My eyes locked with Lyle, the one that broke into my house and- "My favorite." He spoke with a wide smile, which was wiped off by a hard punch from Armano, "You speak when you're spoken to." He says and crosses his arms over his chest like a bodyguard. Lyle spit out a tooth with some blood on it.
I hated his voice, his face and mostly his psychotic smile which he gave me every single time I saw him, "Oh come on, sweets, you're gonna let them treat me like this?" He teased with same smile but this time he had blood coating his teeth. I clenched my fist growing angry, he finds this funny?
A punch met his cheek again, "Akari, please tell us what to do before I shoot him" Zachary said with a very calm tone, that scared me. I heard a groan from the other side of the room and naturally, I turned towards the sound and saw him. The one who took advantage of me for the first time. As I looked at him all the memories came back. His ragged calluses on his palms, digging into my skin. His disgusting voice telling me to shut up.
