It's midnight but Taehyung is still working on their project in his study. Even Jennie was not able to sleep because of that. She was worried for him. ' Why does he overworking himself?' she thought in concern.

She got up from the bed and went to the study to check on Taehyung. She peeked in through the slightly ajar door of study and saw him sitting on his chair, a pile of files were laying on the desk, his fingers were typing furiously  on the keyboard.

He wore a glasses, the light from the side lamp was falling on his face. His hair were dishevelled, falling on his forhead. His eyes looked tired and sleepy but still he was typing restlessly. He looked effortlessly handsome but also a mess.

She opened the door fully and entered inside. As soon as Taehyung felt the presence, he glanced towards her.

" What is it? Why are you up so late? " He asked raising his eyebrows. " I.. I " Jennie trailed off the words, not knowing what to answer. She looked in his eyes, she could see a Slight dark circle under his eyes.

He was waiting for her answer. " I came here to check on you. It's midnight and you are still not done with your work? " Jennie asked. Taehyung squinted his eyes.

" So how does it concern  you? " He asked back. Jennie bit her lip. " W-why not? I'm your wife. I-i care for you. " She answered stuttering.

Taehyung stared her face. Sometimes he thinks, why it had to be like this? Why does she had to be his daughter? Why did he even fall for her? Thinking about him, always boil his blood. 

" No need to care for me. You go and sleep. " He said turning back towards his laptop. Jennie sighed and hesitantly turned to go but stopped and again looked at him.

" Would you like to have a coffee? You look tired, it will help keep you fresh. " She asked. Taehyung stared her for a moment and nodded. " Hmm. "

Jennie smiled and quickly made her way towards the kitchen. Taehyung slumped in his chair, brushing his hair backward and rubbed his forhead. He really needs a cup of coffee right now.

As soon as Jennie neared towards the kitchen, She saw a presence near the door of the kitchen.

She went to him/her and tapped on their shoulder. The person gasped and slowly turned to her. " Kook! What are you doing here, At this time? " It was Jungkook. 

Jungkook sighed in relief. " You scared me noona. " He said. " What are you doing here? " She asked again.

" Noona, I came here to refill my water bottle. But when I neared the door, I heared some noise from inside the kitchen. Look there. " Jungkook whispered and pointed inside the kitchen. 

Jennie peeped inside and saw a figure near the kitchen counter. She gasped in shock and looked back at Jungkook with wide eyes. " Someone is there. " She whisper yelled.

" Yeah...I think someone broke into our house. " Jungkook said. " It could be a thief. " Jennie spoke tensed. " Don't worry Noona! I'm with you. He is alone and we are two. We can easily tackle him down. " He spoke after seeing Jennie's scared face. 

Jennie nodded. " follow me! " Jungkook whispered and walked ahead. Jennie trailed behind him.

They slowly entered the kitchen with cautious steps. The kitchen was dimly lit. That person inside, had put a hood on his head and was fumbling with something on the counter. Jungkook took the knife from the nearby table and walked to that person, Jennie still behind him.
