Chapter 9: DOORS

One evening after filming, JunJie directly went back to his hotel room to recharge for tomorrow. After showering, he sat on the couch with a mug of coffee in his hand and let his mind wander around back to the days he was filming "The Spirealm" together with his lover boy.

Oh, Boy! Well, he's a MAN now..... (JunJie smiled shyly to his own thought)

The set of "The Spirealm" had been a whirlwind of activity, a sprawling studio transformed into a fantastical realm where magic and drama intertwined seamlessly.

For Xia Zhiguang and Huang JunJie, the drama was not just a professional endeavor; it was the backdrop to a period of intense, passionate connection between them, a place where their love had flourished under the guise of on-screen chemistry.

From the moment they stepped onto the set, the air crackled with their mutual energy.

The camera caught only their faces, the intensity of their dialogue, not the secret affirmations their joined hands conveyed.

As the director called "cut," Guang squeezed JunJie's hand lightly, a private confirmation of the words left unsaid. They broke apart as the crew reset for another take, but the brief connection lingered, a sweet undercurrent to the professional facade.

First Kiss: Their affectionate eyes, when looking at each other were a blend of reality and performance.

Each on-screen touch was charged with a genuine passion, a blur of the line between Huang JunJie and his character. After shooting a particularly intense scene, they retreated to Guang's trailer, their laughter spilling out as they replayed each moment.

"Did you see their faces?" Guang chuckled, referring to the surprised crew when he had pulled JunJie in for an unexpected, yet script-approved, kiss that was longer and more fervent than planned.

It was when Guang hugged and kiss JunJie which was out of the script and of course, they couldn't add in the official brocasting. But he did because he couldn't resist JunJie's smile, his crystal clear eyes; especially his irresistible soft jawlines and beautiful face.

JunJie, still catching his breath in surprised from that kiss at that moment. He laughed and replied, "I think they believe our love more than we do sometimes."

His comment was light, teasing, yet it held a hint of truth, a reflection on how their real emotions were sometimes more palpable than their acted ones. However, JunJie wasn't sure why Guang was treating him beyond just his partner in filming.

In Front of the Casts: One evening, in front of the other casts, JunJie maintained a delicate balance of professionalism and genuine affection while Guang barely hid his actions.

During a group dinner after a long day of shooting, sitting side by side, their camaraderie was evident. They shared looks and smiles, occasionally touching in small, seemingly casual ways that spoke of a deeper bond.

"Cheers to our director for making us look good," Guang toasted, his arm naturally finding its way around JunJie's shoulders, pulling him slightly closer. The gesture was open, friendly, yet distinctly possessive.

JunJie played along, leaning into the touch. "And to us, for making it believable," he added, raising his glass. The rest of the cast cheered, oblivious to the true depth of their relationship.

The Reel and Real Blur: As the shooting of "The Spirealm" progressed, so did their relationship, each day a mix of scripted lines and genuine emotions. In the labyrinth of sets and costumes, their real affection grew, nurtured by shared experiences and the thrill of keeping their love just hidden enough to be safe, yet open enough to feel exhilarating.

One night, walking back to their shared dressing room, Guang captured JunJie's chin gently in his hand, turning his face towards him. "You know I love you, right? More than these lights, cameras, and even this drama," he whispered, his voice a soft murmur meant only for JunJie.

JunJie smiled, his heart full despite the chaos of their lives. "I know" he replied with soft and whispering tone.

Just after his replied, his shoulders were pushed to wall by Guang into a kiss that was as real as anything they had before, but infinitely more precious.

In the world of "The Spirealm," amidst the magic and make-believe, the love between Xia Zhiguang and Huang JunJie was perhaps the most real thing of all, a gentle yet undeniable force that made everything else seem like mere shadows in the bright glow of their shared heart.

Oh that man of mine even asked me to kiss him in front of everyone in one of the night time filming.  JunJie shyly kissed his cheek in front of all the casts, and the cheering voices were all over the scene. 

If there's no barriers, he is the one who would announce to the world that Huang JunJie is his. 

JunJie smiled and whisper: "Yeah, I am yours GuangGuang. Forever yours." 

"He might be very busy with his rehearsal for the performance now. He also have filming schedules continuously and most of his scenes are heavy dramas. Guang might be so tired and happy."

"He should text me anyway." JunJie thought as he take out his phone from his pocket.
