"I got the popcorn!" Kirsten hollered.
"Okay!" I hollered back.
"Hmm, Hunger Games?" Ashly asked. "Divergent? Harry Potter? The Giver? Oh, how about The Maze Runner?
"Yeah lets watch The Maze Runner. How 'bout you Kirsten?"
"Sure!"
She walked towards us with the big tub of popcorn.
"Yay!" Ashly cheered.
She handed Ashly the tub and goes to the TV to insert the disk.
I don't like popcorn that much, I mean sure it's good, but I just dont like it alot.
"Want some popcorn?" Ashly asked.
"No, thanks." I replied.
"Shush! The movie is starting!" Kirsten said.
Well all fell quiet. I reached over towards the tub of popcorn with my eyes still on the TV.
"Thought you didn't want any." Ashly said.
"I changed my mind." I said back. I popped the popcorn into my mouth.
The TV turned black.
"What the...,"I said, "do TV's run out of battery?"
"Uh, Kirsten?" Ashly crinkled her eyebrows.
"Thats weird. I'm going to go check it." Kirsten said.
"Aw, just when the movie started." I whined.
Kirsten walked towards the TV.
A door appeared out of nowhere and flung open. Kirsten stepped right in before she could notice.
"Kirsten!" we both yelled. I jumped in right after her, without caring where it would lead me. I could hear Ashly's footsteps right behind me. Everything was all white. What kind of door was this? I couldn't see Kirsten in front of me, and I couldn't see Ashly behind me either. A second later I landed on the floor. What? Oh right, I was in a jumping position. I saw Kirsten in front of me, and a second later Ashly appeared next to me.
I looked around. "Welp, we are definitely NOT in Kirsten's room." I declared.
