The days passed by really fast. Both deetya's and taksh's family were busy in the wedding preps. It was decided that the wedding will take place in Delhi.
Engagement Day.
Deetya was getting ready in her room while trisha was helping her. After a while trisha went out to get gajara for deetya, on her way out she met taksh and he asked trisha if he could meet deetya.
Trisha replied with a teasing smile, "Ya sure waise bhi she is all yours. Ye gajara saath leke jao aur apne haathon se laga bhi dena." Taksh smiled in response and went inside the room.
Deetya was sitting in front of the mirror and was lost in her own thoughts when taksh stood behind her and said, "Ready ho? Meri banne ke kiya?"
Deetya got back to reality, "Tum yaha?"
"Tum yaha ho toh mein kahi aur kaise ho sakta hoon."
Deetya rolled her eyes at him, "This sweet act of yours won't change the fact that you forced me into this."
Taksh didn't reply to her instead started fixing the gajara in her hair. Deetya didn't resist him. They went down and soon the roka (engagement ceremony) began.

Deetya and taksh entered together in the hall with their hands intertwined. Everyone hooted for them. Both of them were seated in their respective seats.
Firstly taksh's maa-saa and baba-sa came. They applied tilak on both of their foreheads and surekha prajapati placed a red chunni on deetya's head. Both of them gave some gifts to Deetya and blessed the new couple.
Next deetya's maa and papa came, did taksh's tilak and gave him gifts while blessing the new couple.
Now it was time to exchange the rings.
Deetya placed the ring on taksh's left hand ring finger. It was deetya's turn now and when she forwarded her hand everyone gasped. There was already a ring present in her ring finger.
Trisha came as a saviour, "Everyone please don't react like this! This is the ring that taksh bhai gave to deetya when he confessed his feelings for her so chill."
Both deetya's as well as taksh's mom said, "Beta remove that ring."
Taksh and deetya said in unison, "NO."
Panditji was surprised, "But according to the rasam you have to."
Everyone was surprised when taksh removed that ring and placed it in her index finger then he slipped the engagement ring in her ring finger.
Everyone was happy and so was deetya but she didn't want to show it much so just smiled. Soon the function ended with lots of family photos and a couple photos.
