"That's How We MET"

|| Chapter Eighteen||

Happy Reading.

It's been 1 week since the kashmir trip and everything is going well. Deetya and taksh are having their days filled with love and tender dreams.

Trisha and Aarav are working on their friendship with frequent events of nok-jhok and romance.

The lectures ended and all the four of them along with priyansh, kiara and ayesha headed towards the canteen. They all were having their everyday chit - chat session when heer and sara entered and got settled just beside them.

Heer was constantly staring at Aarav and Trisha as they were sitting just beside each other or a little more close.
Trisha being uncomfortable with her gaze tried to move her chair a little away from Aarav's but Aarav pulled her chair back, a little closer this time and continued their convo but trisha wasn't comfortable which was clearly visible on her face.

She simply announced that she was going to grab some chai and asked if anyone needed anything and headed towards the counter.

Just after 5 min Aarav followed her but she ignored him and grabed the order and went towards the table. This time she sat beside Deetya and had her chai.

Aarav was too disturbed with trisha's behavior. He marked it many times but this was a high time for him. There was something more that he had for trisha but couldn't name it yet but for now they were friends and really closed ones. They shared a really pure bond, from not knowing each other's existence, hating each other, being friends to finally being the JAI - VEERU to each other.

They came a long way together and Aarav was not ok with losing this bond because of heer.

At night around 9 pm.

Trisha had her dinner and came back to her room while talking with deetya on call . Her phone literally rang twice but she didn't care. The third time she finally decided to receive the call and it was none other than
Mr. Aarav Nair.

Trisha finally picked the call but before she could say anything Aarav said, "Come outside, I am waiting, NOW" and ended the call.
Trisha first thought to ignore the call but gave it a second thought and decided to go out.

She saw Aarav from a distance, he was standing near his car with his back resting on the door, he was wearing a white shirt with rolled up sleeves and black jeans.

He had no expression on his face but his gaze was hard. He saw Trisha coming and his eyes softened a little.

Trisha asked,
"What happened? Why are you at my house at such a late hour?"
Aarav replied,
"We need to talk".
"About what?"
"About us! About your behavior towards me! About u being uncomfortable while heer is around"

Trisha looked down and said,
"Aarav there isn't anything to talk about this and it's too late u should go..... ".

Before she could completely her sentence aarav slammed her back against his car door and moved dangerously close to her face.
"Trisha shrivastav don't you dare avoid me! coz I won't appreciate that."

Trisha's eyes welled up and she said, "Aarav mujhe dard ho raha hai."  Aarav got back to his senses and loosened his grip on her arms.

Trisha said, "Let's talk about this some other time abhi kisine dekha toh colony mein charche ho jayegi".

Aarav took a deep breath and grabbed her wrist and made her sit in the car. Trisha struggled to get out but aarav held both of her hand in his one hand and started driving.
Aarav finally stopped the car and got out, he opened the door for Trisha and she came out.

Trisha asked furiously,
"What's wrong with you? Are you out of your mind?"
"You make me do this stuff, now tell me what's wrong with u?"
"Everything is fine and let's go home if my parents get to know that i am not at home they would get really mad at me"
"We aren't going anywhere Trisha! Until u answer me, the longer u take the more u get late " With his statement aarav crossed his arms and joined his back with his car.

Trisha took a deep breath and finally spoke,
"Aarav look i don't wanna get in between you and heer, i don't know why she is so jealous of me but if she doesn't like me being friends with you  then I'll stay away from u"

Aarav was really very furious right now but decided to stay calm coz it was Trisha standing in front of him, so he had to stay calm.
Aarav said,
"Firstly heer and i are ancient history and won't be getting back ever again get that in your head and secondly her opinion doesn't count and one whose opinion matters to me is standing right in front of me. Heer doesn't get to decide what I am supposed to do in my life."

Trisha said with tears in her eyes,
"I don't wanna be a villain to your story aarav "
Aarav moved closer to Trisha, he wiped off the tears from her face and placed both of his hands on her cheeks.

Aarav said,
"Trisha u aren't being one and u can never be a villain to a story which already ended half a decade ago, I have moved on from this so why can't u?"
"But you are still answerable to her, I heard u that day"

Aarav rolled his eyes and said,
"You only heard the half convo Trisha, for God sake why didn't u tell me this before? That day I told heer that u are just a friend to me but I sort of started liking u and that's what I told her and hence forth she started disliking u".

Trisha was too stunned to even react. Aarav continued,
"look we both know that we have something more than friends and u can't deny it! But I am not rushing things let's take time, see what happens but until then u aren't allowed to avoid me, I can't handle that".

Trisha was still standing all in shock, maybe because  now she knows why she was so affected whenever heer was showing her authority over Aarav.

Aarav said softly,
"Trisha are u listening to me?"
trisha stuttered,
"yaa i..... I am ..... I am sorry for being rude to u."
"You don't have to,just don't avoid me, it really hurts when u do so"
"Ab toh mera haat choad do".
Aarav said under his breath,
"Kabhi nhi." 

Trisha said,
"Aarav not again, joh hai saaf saaf kaha karo"
Aarav avoided the convo and said,
"Come I'll drop u its almost 11, your family must be worried"
"yeh pehla sochna tha, ab chalo."

Aarav was finally satisfied that Trisha is again normal with him, he told her everything about heer and his past and how he was being framed as a toxic guy.
They reached at trisha's, she walked fast towards the gate and aarav was standing near his car watching her go.

Trisha turned and ran towards aarav, she hugged him and said,
"Aarav I am really sorry I won't do this again to u"
Aarav smiled.
Trisha parted from aarav and ran back in the house.
