Chapter XXIII: Time to be romantic

Grayson's POV

I was depressed and I knew it. I wouldn't get up from bed since she left. Her essence was still inside the room and it was the only thing I had left from her. How could I be so stupid? How could I let this happen? How could I not listen to her? Since that day I've had my phone in my hand dialing the call but I would hang up before she could answer. I didn't know what to say. I didn't know if she would take the call or decline it.

And I thought, how could she be so dramatic? Leaving me here without saying anything? Not even a good night. Nothing. She left me without thinking it twice. Jack entered the room and sat by my side. He handed me some food but I didn't want to eat. He forced me to eat it. "I just called her" I didn't say anything "She is okay" he continued "She is working as photographer for a small magazine." He handed me his phone, the screen was black but I heard her voice. "Hello?" She said a couple times "Jack? Jack?" A single tear run down my face. He took the phone and put the speaker on and told me to be silent. They started talking. She sounded sad.

After listening to their conversation I felt better. Jack hang up and I gave him a brotherly hug. I felt strong again. "I have her address" he said leaving then room with the dish in hand. I jumped out of bed. I felt the energy running through all my body, I felt alive. I took a quick shower and dressed up nice. "I need your help" I said to Jack. "Let's go!" He opened the door and walked in the elevator. I called a uber driver. "To the best flower shop in LA, please" I demanded. We got to the shop "please can you wait?" I asked the uber driver. "Sure" he let out. I bought 51 red roses, a bouquet of lilies and left. Jack was with me the whole time.

We got to her apartment. I knock her door but no answer. "She's not home" I said going to the stairs. Jack grabbed my arm "That's the idea. Under the doormat" There was a key. I opened the door smiling. I quickly think "Candles, a big teddy bear, dinner, and what comes next..." "I'll go get the candles and the bear." Did I say that out loud? "You decorate this with some red petals and make dinner. See ya in an hour" He left.

Ethan's POV

*Ring, Ring*
My phone rang. It was Grayson. He left this morning with Jack without saying anything. "Hello?" "Eth, I need you. Can you please go buy 50 red roses?" "Yeah, sure" "Okay, thanks. Call me when you got them. Operation: recover the princess up" Now i know what this is all about. I hang up and get up. I was playing video games with Aaron "Wanna come?" "The uber is on his way" he answered smiling.

We got to the flower shop. I buy the 50 red roses and call Gray "Got them" I said "I need you and Aaron to bring me the flowers" He gave me the address and we head there. The door was unlocked, so we walked in. There was a little lane of red petals heading from the door to a bouquet of lilies then to the table but the lane was unfinished. I see Grayson putting the petals on the floor. "Here you go" I say handing him the flowers. "Boys I need you. I gotta go grocery shopping to make dinner for tonight and buy some other things. I need you to finish this. It has to go from the table to the bath tub and then to her bed. When you finish with that put the candles Jack will bring in the bathroom but don't lit them yet. I'll be back later. When you finish call me and then go home." We nodded yes and he left.

Jack's POV

I got the candles and the teddy bear. And head to Bea's house. Grayson calls me and tells me Ethan and Aaron are in there helping set it up. "I'm gonna call Bea, I don't know when she will come back" The call is dialing and she answers. "When are you going back home, I wanna visit you and talk, maybe have dinner" I say fast "Around 4pm" "Okay, see ya later" I hang up before she could say anything else. I text Grayson, Ethan and Aaron.

Me: Guys we have 2 hours til she comes home
Grayson: I'm almost done with grocery shopping, see ya at her apt.
Ethan&Aaron: done with the petals, waiting for candles.

I ran to the apartment. We finished setting the candles up and Grayson came in with the bags and started cooking. Aaron, Ethan and I left at 2:30pm.

*Hour and a half later*
Grayson's POV

The food was ready. The bath tub was full of warm water and foam. Around it, there was the white candles lit up, a little table with champagne in ice, a couple of towels and two champagne glasses. The red petals path began from the door, leading to the lilies in the living room, the table, then the bath tub and finally the bed. The bed had a heart made of petals on top the white sheets. I bought a red Victoria's secret lingerie for her and hide it in her drawer. I heard the door open and I get inside the closet. I was wearing only sweatpants. I was shirtless, It had to be romantic, and sexy.

Bea followed the petals and saw everything. She went back to the living room and I went behind her silently. Then she turned around and saw me.
