A Bau Bau Dorm Life! (HIATUS)

Chapter 11

Fast forward a week or two later, your classes have started again. Which means you won't have as much time with your two beloved demon guard dogs. How about giving them a gift, or something of the sorts? You secretly head out to the mall in the afternoon, wanting to surprise them. There, you spot Nerissa.

Nerissa: "Hm? Aren't you Fuwawa and Mococo's boyfriend? What are you doing here all alone? Trying to cheat on them, maybe?"

Y/N: "Nonono, of course not! It's just... Classes are starting again. I won't be able to spend as much time with them... So I'm thinking about buying the both of them a gift. Do you have any recommendations for me? Like, necklaces, bracelets... What do you think they'd like best?"

Nerissa: "Oh? Didn't think of you as such a romantic. Well, I think they'd appreciate anything that you give them, in my opinion. How about matching earrings? They're quite hard to spot, and it's a nice gift for cute girls like them."

You nod at Nerissa’s suggestion, considering the idea. Matching earrings would be a subtle but thoughtful gift, something the twins could wear daily without it being too obvious. The three of you still wanted to hide it from the other students on campus, afterall.

Y/N: "That actually sounds like a great idea. Do you know any good stores around here?" 

Nerissa smirks, crossing her arms. 

Nerissa: "Oh? So now you need my help, huh? What do I get in return?" 

Y/N: "How about a coupon for touching Mococo's belly once?"

Nerissa's face lights up at that and she quickly accepts. She leads you through the mall, pointing out a boutique that specializes in elegant yet simple jewelry. Inside, the two browse through various options, looking for something that would suit Fuwawa and Mococo’s personalities. After some deliberation, Y/N settles on a pair of dainty, silver earrings with small gemstone accents, one in light blue for Fuwawa, the other in pink for Mococo. 

Nerissa: "Ohh, nice pick. They're cute but not too flashy. I think they'll love 'em."

Y/N: "That’s the plan. Thanks for the help, Nerissa."

Nerissa shrugs, but there’s a hint of a smile on her face.

Nerissa: "No problem. But I better not hear about you making them cry, got it? Or else."

Y/N: "Got it, got it. Wouldn’t dream of it."

With the small, elegant boxes tucked safely in your pocket, you make your way back to the dorm. The afternoon sun is already beginning to set, casting a warm golden glow over campus. Your thoughts are occupied with how Fuwawa and Mococo will react, would they be surprised? Happy? Maybe even a little emotional? As you unlock the door, you’re immediately greeted by the familiar warmth of your home. 

Mococo: "Haeh? You’re back late, bau bau." 

Fuwawa: "Moco-chan was starting to get restless waiting for you~" 

Mococo: "I was not! I just thought that you’d come back earlier, that's all!" 

The sight of them bickering brings a smile to your face. They’re curled up on the couch, clearly having spent most of the afternoon lounging around. Mococo is holding a half-eaten bag of chips, while Fuwawa is trying to steal said bag of chips.

Y/N: "Sorry, sorry. I had some errands to run." 

Fuwawa raises an eyebrow, her tail flicking slightly. 

Fuwawa: "Oh? Errands, you say? And what kind of errands would make you sneak off without telling us, hm?" 

Mococo narrows her eyes at you.
