I woke up in a strange house, the feeling of numbness all over my body.It was around 7pm."What a weird dream..."I sat up strait still kinda groggy. "Where on earth am I. " I said as I looked around the small house. It was made of wood and stone, much like a cottage. But it was very well furnished. Like the person who built it actually wanted to use it as a temporary stay or a vacation home or something.

"It wasn't a dream". I almost jumped out of my skin. I spun around to see where the mysterious voice had come from.

There was a girl standing by the window. She looked about a year older than me. She was dressed in all black. Black lether jacket. Black jeans. Black combat boots. Even her hair was black. The only thing that wasn't black about her we're here eyes. They were glowing a combination of bright yellow and gold. Like burning ember .

"Hey...umm...who are you, and why are your eyes on fire." I asked..my voice shaking a little. Pull yourself together Theo..dammit.

I really didn't was to look like a chicken in the eyes of this girl. Aside the fact that she was a total babe,jet black hair, beautiful golden yellow eyes (that still scared the shit outta me) puffy pink lips, spotless skin, slender legs. All in all she had a perfect body. Model caliber. But she also looked like she could break every bone in my body within a time span of about 5seconds. She was one of those girls with that dont fuck with me or i will kill you vibe.

She blinked, and the fireplace I never knew existed came to life."woaaa!!! How did you do that!!" I asked, astonished.

"Calm down my lord. I'll answer all of your questions" she replied coolly. 'My lord'I replayed in my head. "Why did you just call me my lord".I asked suprised. I knew I as asking too many questions but she was being patient and I appreciated that.

She took a near by chair and sat."Now what do you want to know first my lord". She asked me, her face still unchanged. "Who are you Or more accurately what are you and What were those things I saw outside"I said.

"I am Kayla Sparks"." I am from the species of pyro sapiens." Also called fire elementals. I'm a true blood.

"What's a true blood?"I asked. "True bloods are being that have both their parents from the same race."She said, like I was some toddler."both my parents were elementals."she said.

"Ohh..""what about those...things you killed outside?"I asked, remembering the past events." They were demons and They're called rogues. "They are beings that chose to defy the order of royals and prey on humans." Her expression changed to disgust. "They're scum..  my lord" She said in a low whisper, her eyes glowed a little more brightly.
