My head was spinning and I hadn't even had chance to open my eyes yet. There was light flooding the room causing my hand to shield my eyes, not wanting to make my headache any worse. I sit up, finally looking around me, my eyes barely open. For a second I'm unaware of my surroundings and then it all clicks, everything from last night is made clear in my mind. I look next to me, noticing that the other side of the bed is empty meaning Rafe must have already gotten up.

I take a minute to process everything before getting up and throwing my dress back on and making my way to the kitchen in search of water and hopefully something to help with my hangover. Nobody is around as I wander through the Cameron's house, which I guess is a relief otherwise I'd have to explain what I was doing here.

Once I reach the kitchen, I grab a glass from one of the cabinets and fill it with cold water, drinking most of it and sitting down at the table. I open my phone that I had remembered to bring with me from Rafe's room, scrolling through people's posts of the party last night and sending my mom a message to let her know I was okay. I tell her I stayed at Sarah's, which isn't a complete lie, Sarah just doesn't know I stayed here.

"Bella, hey." I hear a voice across the room, looking up and seeing Sarah in her uniform, facing away from me as she looked through the cabinets. "I didn't know you were coming over. Why'd you miss school today?"

"Oh, hey S." I mumble, scrambling through my brain for a reason why I showed up unannounced in the same clothes I was wearing last night. "I just didn't feel up to it this morning, my head is still spinning."

She turns around to face me, taking in my appearance, giving herself a moment to register before her jaw drops. Like literally, on the floor. She rushes over and sits opposite me, looking at me with an expecting smile. "Try again, why are you here? And where's my brother."

As if on cue, Rafe walks in with a bag in hand and coffee in the other, seeing his sister and almost immediately trying to back out of the room. "Absolutely not, don't even think about leaving me here alone, Cameron." I speak up, causing Sarah's attention to snap to her brother attempting to sneak away.

"You two..." She looks between us, not showing any emotion as I try to read her face. "Oh my god you totally did."

"Morning Sar, coffee?" Rafe says, placing the cup in front of her and handing me the other, clearly trying to avoid the topic. I take it, standing up and thanking him before starting to walk away.

"I'll let you deal with this, my mom is gonna be wondering where I am." I grab whatever I had left in Rafe's room before leaving and walking home.

My house wasn't too far from the Cameron's so it only took me 15 minutes or so to get back, I noticed neither of my parents' cars were here so they must've both left for the day. I let myself in, going up to my room and changing before getting into bed and closing my eyes for a little while.

When I wake up, my head isn't pounding anymore and I feel a lot better. It had been just under 2 hours since I fell asleep and I had 5 missed calls from Sarah and a message from Rafe.
