*Cameron's POV*
Today is finally the day I'm going to ask Y/N out. We're supposed to meet for lunch in about a hour and a half and that's when I'm going to ask her.
I've been wanting to ask her out for at least four years now but I've either been too scared or she has a boyfriend, but I have finally worked up the nerve to do it and I have never been so scared in my life.
"Bro you ready?" Nash asks knowing what I'm going to do.
"I'm really nervous," I reply.
"You'll be fine," he assures me.
"You think?" I ask.
"Absolutely, you can tell she likes you just by the way she is around you and how she looks at you," he tells me.
I smiles and give Nash a nod and go up to my room to get dressed. I shower and put on some casual clothes and get into my car. I drive to a nearby flower shop and get a rose for after I ask her out. I get back in the car and place the rose in the passenger seat and smile.
I pull up to the small café and see her sitting at a table already. I grab the rose and put it in the inside pocket of my jacket then walk through the doors. She sees that I'm here and comes to greet me. We hug and then sit down.
"So I have something to tell you," she grins.
"So do I, but you go first," I smile.
"Okay so me and Ryan got back together." she squeals.
She got back together with her ex... I can practically feel my heart break in half, but I put on the fakest smile ever and pretend to be happy for her.
"What did you have to tell me?" she asks.
"Oh nothing. It wasn't important," I lie.
"Oh okay," she says, thinking nothing of it.
We soon order our food and once we finish eating we say our good-byes and she walks out. I just sit there for a couple minutes then finally get up.
As I walk to my car I stop at a trashcan. I take the rose out my jacket pocket and look at it. I turn to the trashcan and as I throw the rose away I feel a tear slide down the side of my face.
