First Person POV (Holland)
I returned to the base fortunately uneventful, I went to a nearby mooring area to, get this, Moore my ship.
Once the mooring lines were safely secured at the pier I ordered "Cut all engine power" the engine stopped abruptly and allowed me to step in land.
"I should probably report what happened to... Prince of Wales, honestly, it's nice to see her not sunk."
In real life, H.M.S Prince of Wales, along with the battlecruiser H.M.S Repulse, were sunk near Kuantan, Malaysia, by Japanese land based aircraft.
Their sinking basically upped the decline of battleships as the leading force in naval engagements in favor of Aircraft and Aircraft Carriers.
I sighed at myself thinking "Now that I think of it, I could've joined force Z and possibly saved both of them" I had a pause for a bit before continuing "Oh well, the past is the past and she is afloat here, and I also need to do a report"
"Um dia bastante ativo, não é mesmo?"
I resumed myself, walking towards the headquarters
Third Person POV
Time Skip (everyone has arrived on base)
(At Enterprise's, uhh dorm? Honestly, I have no idea what they call it.)
(Future me here. It's actually called quarters :) )
Enterprise appeared to have been knocked out in bed, most likely from overextending herself in the battle against akagi and kaga, which worsened when she tried to save the previous, which led to her passing out.
(At least this is what I think happened. The author doesn't pay me enough for this)
She wakes up and slowly starts looking around her... Y'know what screw this. I'll just call it room.
She slowly looks around her room and sees the maid Belfast from the previous encounter.
Flashback
Enterprise can be seen falling to her knees. Belfast, seeing this quickly catches her, "Is something wrong?" She asked, but before Enterprise could answer, she lost consciousness.
(See! I was right. She did lose consciousness)
End of Flashback
Enterprise looks towards Belfast, "I see, so you're the one that saved me." She stood up and took some energy bars on the table next to her bed."I'm sorry to have troubled you."
"I am glad no serious harm was done." Belfast remarked
But instead of thanking her, Enterprise just heads towards the door. "Maam?" Belfast tried to call out to her with no response, so she followed her.
"Perhaps you should rest." Belfast told her again in which Enterprise downplays her situation."These injuries are commonplace in war time."
Belfast clearly worried by her actions said, "You were in grave danger."
"Yes, I thank you for your assistance." There was no sense of thanks in her voice
Belfast told her breakfast was ready, but Enterprise just showed her the energy bars and said that that was enough before getting out of the room area with Belfast staying behind.
The scene forwards to a bunch of people eating on a very fancy cafeteria with a view of the sea.
Laffey and Javelin eat and discuss together about the recent events involving the destroyer Ayanami.
