Alters hummed frowning at his paperwork, he swore there was something of the contract he wasn't catching. Stupid monster haters, he owned this house and he wasn't going to back down because they 'claimed' they owned it.

Goth walked down the hallway cheerfully, almost skipping.

Alter chuckled, leaning back to the paperwork.

Goth carefully went down the hallway holding something.

He blinked, he must have been seeing things.

Goth skipped the other way.

Alter grinned, finding the important part he needed for his lawyer.

"Tweeeeee"

"Shhh.. dad will hear you," Goth whispered sneaking back towards his room, something purplish black in his arms.

He sighed and bookmarked the spot he was at in the contract, and headed to his sons room.

He found one babybones, and two rather pretty birds preening Goths white wings.

"When did Ink even create a Dream or Nightmare Bird?" he asked a guilty looking Goth.

"Um... I don't know... they just landed on me and started preening me," Goth admitted, the rather beautiful birds were rather friendly.

"You realize they may be someones pets if there in such good condition and so friendly?" Alter told him quietly.

"I know.. but they're not affected by my powers," Goth said tears his eyes "are you going to take them away?"

"No sweetsoul, I understand why. You can keep them as long as we can't find an owner, but if one is found they have to go back," Alter said sitting down beside Goth, the babybones sighed.

"I know, but if no owner... I can keep them?" Goth begged.

"While I'm not happy you snuck them in I do understand, you can keep them if no owners as long as you take care of them properly," he told him.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" Goth squealed happily, the near shout scaring the birds briefly.

"Easy there, now the hard part," Alter chuckled.

"Hard part?" Goth asked confused.

"Getting supplies and learning to care for your little friends, then named for them," Alter explained.

"Names.. I didn't think of names!" Goth cried all in a panic, Alter chuckled.

"Don't worry I'll help"

------

Goth yawned and cuddled into his bed happily, the soothing sounds of Sunny and DarkMoon sleeping filling the room. The named were not very imaginative, but he liked them and the birds responded.

They didn't seem to mind there large cage, and went right to sleep when he placed the light cover on them to help them rest.

He felt less lonely now, tiny little friends he hoped they never found owners for.

Now.. maybe his friend Karma would visit again.

He fell asleep to that thought.

------

"Hmm" Ink said looking into the room.

"Sorry Ink looked like they escaped," Dream said not sorry at all, the birds would be happier then all crowded into a room.

"I'm keeping this one," Blue said scratching the remaining bird, the one based on him.

"Fine, but I'm making a new cattale" Ink pouted.
