Dr. Hotom tells me I can get ready and go scheduling an appointment for another month where he says we will talk about birth because,well it will be about time for Baby Hood to start getting ready to come. We all calmly walk out. I look to michael and he screams at the top of his lungs "ITS A BOY" we all continue to scream until my voice hurts. I take out my phone and type in Calum's number putting him on speaker calling him, he answers his voice raspy he was asleep.
"Hello?"
" Hey babe, we just got out of the doctor." I feel his excitement come out
"You did what are we having?"
"A fucking boy. Holy shit Hood I'm going to be an uncle." Michael screams once again. I look at his face smiling.Thinking if how loved this little boy is going to be. Thinking of Michael teaching my son about Pokémon. Luke teaching him about classic records and putting him up to ask us to do insane things with his uncles. And Ashton teaching him how to bang the dishes the correct way.
"Clifford. Calm your tits" Calum
Laughs I push the speaker button once again after getting in the car.
"How's Opa?"
"Well they called me down here because they didn't think he'd make it. But now they are saying he is getting better. But I told him about you. How I wanted to be with you the rest of my life. How much you meant to me. And I told him I was going to be a dad. He told me I had to bring you home to meet the family "
My face begins to warm
"Awe. I'd love that Calum but the doctor also said I was further along than he said at first. I am 5 months" I hear Calum clear his throat
"Really? That means I get to meet him sooner than I thought."
"Yeah. I can't wait you need to hurry home. So we can start thinking about names"
"I'm going to get a few more things straightened out then I will be coming babe. I swear so give me 2 3 days at most and I'll be there."
"Alright well I'll let you go. Hurry up though. I love you Cal"
"I will AJ. I love you so much" I hang up
"What did he say?" Luke asks from behind the wheel
" His Opa is getting better. And he will be home 3 days tops." I repeat with a bit of anger in my tone
" its okay you can't be getting upset. Baby Michael is in there" Michael says pointing to my stomach assuming I was naming my son after him I laugh
" Michael? Sorry I love you three but I cant handle with calling my son any of your names. Maybe Gordon?" I say cheekily Michael scowls
"God no don't put that kid in that kind of pain" Luke laughs I go on
"Maybe Fletcher that isn't to bad" Ashton looks behind him smiling
"How about something more er original" I nod thinking. There is no way I'm making my son a Calum Thomas Hood the II . Maybe Thomas. I rather liked that name. And that way he was kind of named after Cal. Eh we still have 4 months to think about it. Luke pulls in the driveway. We all get out and enter the house.

A boy? I was going to have a son. And I felt the excitement growing in me. I get up and grab some clothes and head to the bathroom I shower thinking about 5 years from now. Hopefully AJ says yes. And we can get our own place to raise.him. I would have to slow the concerts down. I know AJ would never let that happen. Her and our son would most likely travel with us. I put my clothes and walk down the stairs my mum and dad sitting at the kitchen table. Mali is also at the table drinking coffee. I walk into the kitchen smiling
" What are you so happy about?" Mali asks smiling
" It's a boy." I say she squeals and jumps up wrapping her arms around my neck. I told her first because I knew she would keep quiet until I decided to tell mum and dad.
"Oh I'm having a grandson? Calum I'm so happy." My mum says also hugging me my dad does the same. He hands me the small box we had been talking about. Inside it is a gold band with an aqua stone in the middle. It was my great great grandfathers engagement ring to my grandmother when they had a son that was in love with a girl they gave him the ring and he did the same to his first born son. And then my grandfather sat my father down giving him the ring for my mum. And just last night my father sat me down having me talk about AJ. After deciding I was in love with her. He said that she was the one that would be receiving the ring. I agreed and now here it was and we already had the next in line for the ring growing inside my future wife .
"Calum you need to tell Phoebe because her obsession with you will be very awkward when you bring this baby around us." I sighed yeah she needed to be left in the past. Phoebe was a girl that was always there when I needed to relieve myself. I never had true feelings for her. I just lead her on. Until I found who I thought was going to be the next Phoebe. After a walk I ran into this girl with beautiful eyes and long hair. I instantly imagined myself inside her . But then she smiled and something changed in me. My urge to have sex lessened in a way I just wanted to hold her I wanted to kiss her. And that was when I knew she was the one. I fell so in love. And there was no getting up
