Megaman Zero:A Dimensional Journey

Chapter 3

Zero:You you know about my history and my creator!?
Me:....Yes.Like I said,you are well recognized in this world so of course I know alot about you.
Ciel:Huh interesting.Well,you wouldn't mind sharing this information would you?
Me:That depends if Zero agrees to let me share it. Well, will you allow me Zero.
Zero:Doesn't look like a have another choice, very well.
Me:Ok then, but before I explain Zeros history let me tell you about his creator Dr.Wily.

And so I told everyone about Dr.Wily.

Me:Dr.Wily is a scientist who deals with robotics.He once worked for the famous Dr.Thomas "Xavier" Light.
Zero:Light?I feel as if I heard that name before.
Me:Well I'll get into him later. Anyways, Wily felt that he was neglected because Light always received the credit. Because of that, Wily turned to the dark side and decided to conquer the world. He became evil and had a thirst for power.Wily created a virus known as the influenza virus that turned robots evil and made them destroy everything in their path.As a result, the robot wars began. Fearing this, Dr. Light built a robot named Rock who would fight against Wily.Rock proved to be quite the formidable warrior.He had beaten Wily several times, but Wily never gave up. The more defeats he suffered,the more thirst for power he had.He came back with new robots and would even take on Rock himself only to lose. Having enough of his defeats,Wily built a robot who was similar to Rock. His name was Forte.Forte and Rock were the biggest of rivals. Forte always challenged Rock to see who was the strongest, however Rock always proved to be the strongest.Forte soon began to question why he should fight Rock and so he decided to leave Wily and join Rock. Together, the two fought together against Wily and the two eventually became best friends,almost brothers.As time advanced, Dr.Light was starting to work on a new robot .One that he said would "think and feel for himself".
Zero:Wait,you don't mean-
Me:Yes....X.Dr.Light worked extremely hard on X. He wanted him to be the perfect robot. However, Wily soon found out about X and so he decided that he needed to build a robot that would be powerful enough to defeat X. And that's where you came in Zero. Wily soon started on building his most powerful creation,one that would be powerful enough to defeat X. Wily also worked on a new virus later called the Maverick virus. This virus was soon fused into Zero. When Dr.Light found out about Wily's creation, he feared for the worst.He showed Rock, his sister Roll, and Forte his new robot X but he said that he was not yet finished. So Rock and Forte decided to go deal with Wily's creation unaware they were being followed by Roll and another of Light's creations,Blues.However, things didn't go to well.Due to Wily's creation being way too powerful, it overmatched Rock, Roll, Forte, and Blues.Within time, all four of them were killed and destroyed to scrap. Seeing how powerful Wily's creation was, Light feared that if X were to be released to the world as well as Wily's creation the people of the time would fear them and try to destroy them.So that's when he decided to seal X until he was ready to be accepted. Of course Wily did the same thing so his creation could destroy X.
Ciel:And then when Zero awakened, what happened?
Me:I'll get to that.When X was awakened by Dr.Cain,he used X's technology to build other robots like him, who were soon dubbed "reploids".X soon joined the maverick hunters, which at the time was under the leadership of Sigma,the most powerful reploid of the time. Then when Zero awakened, it was a different story. Because Zero had the maverick virus, he was a tyrant. He killed anything and anyone in his way, humans and reploids.Then, Zero encountered Sigma and Sigma of course won.
Zero:But I don't understand how Sigma became a maverick after that.
Me:Well when Sigma punched your memory chip not only did you forget what you were intended to do but you gave him the maverick virus.However it didn't come into effect. After you woke up from the fight, you joined the maverick hunters.Sigma was surprised to see how powerful you were. That's why he made you the most elite of maverick hunters.Then,of course there came the Day of Sigma when Sigma finally became a maverick and started the maverick wars. Ever since then, Zero fought bravely.He was the most admired warrior.He also always fought alongside X. And in time, the two shared a brotherly bond.Zero always fought and never stopped. But that changed on that one fateful day. When Repliforce soon started a rebellion,Zero was sent to deal with Sigma. On the way he fought his rival,Colonel.But then Sigma did something that Zero always regretted.Sigma made Zero's first love, Iris, turn maverick.And as a result, Zero was forced to kill her. Since then, Zero has never been the same.He always questioned why he's fighting and why he can't stop. That's why he decided to seal himself. He was then awakened by X to fight in the Elf wars caused by Dr.Weil.After that, he sealed himself again.And of course, that's when Ciel awoke him. And well we all know what happens after that.

After that, everyone was silent. Ciel was shocked about Zero's history as I could tell by the look on her face. Again, there was a moment of silence until Zero broke it this time.

Zero:*sigh*What have I done?I am nothing but a monster. I should've never been created. Iris, please forgive me. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR EVERYTHING!!!WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR!?

Zero fell to the floor sobbing. I felt bad for him. His past is just as bad as mines even worse since he had to kill his first love. That must've been really painful.

Me:Zero,I know for a fact that somewhere out there, Iris does forgive you. And I bet you that she's really happy with you seeing how much you've evolved as a warrior. And Zero, you said it yourself when you were facing Weil on Ragnarok.You don't fight for justice or for being called a hero, you fight for the people you love and care about. You fight for the people you believe in. That's what you're fighting for.To protect the people you love, care, and believe in. That's your purpose as a warrior. And I'm certain that Iris and everyone else you care about and love can agree with that.
Zero:*sniffle*Thank you Cristian. I guess now I realize what my purpose is. Thanks.
Me:No problem.And besides, don't let your past haunt you and let it get in your way. You should always look forward to the future and leave the past behind.The past is the past, and the future is the future,never forget that. Plus, I'm going through the same problem as you are. My past is also haunting me and I can't put it behind me. But I'm certain that you can.
Zero:Thank you for that.I'll try.
Me:I'm surprised you two haven't talked at all.

Kathy and Ciel were pretty much silent so I decided to change the topic now.

Me:So what about Omega and Wily?I'm pretty certain that they might come here in search of Zero and destroy him and well try to conquer our world.
Kathy:Yea what are we going to do?
Zero:Well we have no choice but to fight back.
Me:Then let's work together.
Zero:What?No way. I can't allow it. You two are just humans and it's too dangerous for you. You could get hurt.
Kathy:No way. We're helping. Besides, we know this world better than you two and you're going to need our help if you're going to find Omega and Wily. And plus, we know how to fight. We humans aren't always defenseless y'know.
Zero:Very well then. You may help us.
Me:Alright we'll do our best. Now let's go and finish Omega and Wily for good.

And so our alliance began and so did our journey.We ventured forth to search for Omega and Wily into what would be me and Kathy's biggest adventure yet.

~Authors note:Geez I wrote too much.This might be the longest chapter in the story. Hope I don't write that much again. Well, there's the end of chapter 3.Chapter 4 will come soon.~
