Let me convince you why we should live in a treehouse.
Not a small one that we used to play in as children.
A big one.
One with bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room.
A normal house but..shaped like a treehouse and in the middle of the forest.
We should live in one so we car hear the birds chirping from the moment they wake up to the second they go to sleep.
So we can be surrounded by nature without the sound of cars on the highway:
So I can kiss you under a blanket of stars every night and make sure you know that I would give you the moon if I could.
So I can wake you up at one in the morning and say "hey, you in the mood for some stargazing and a cup of tea?" I know when you see the charming smile you fell in love with you'll kiss me and say of "Of course, darling."
Over our coffee we can discuss our old memories from before I asked you to marry me.
We can talk about our childhoods, our honeymoon and if ghosts really exist.
We can discuss how the universe was created or the possibility of God, even if neither of us are religious.
We can talk about baby names and future pets, future jobs and future trips.
We can spill our deep, dark secrets and talk about the bad times.
We can cry together, laugh and smile together.
I love you and you know it,
We will talk until the sun rises.
Sometimes you'll wake me up at night because you heard the trees whispering to each other or you heard a strange growl, I'll pull you close and and remind you that whatever danger comes our way, I'll be there to save you.
After I save you, we will have one hell of a story to tell to our family when we visit them.
Then I'll sing you your favourite lullaby and synchronize our breaths to help lull you into your dreams.
This is why we need a treehouse.
