"You're a what?" Daniel looked so confused.

"I have powers to do anything."

Daniel laughed, "You're kidding. Prove it." He sighed. Then said, "Make a cat appear."

I need Daniel to believe all that
So turn that table into a cat

All of a sudden the table for tomorrow's dance was a beautiful tabby cat.

"Woah, you're a demon! Get away from me!" Daniel yelled.

"No, Danny, you don't understand."

"I do, you're a devil! Go away!"

And I ran out of the school crying. What I didn't know was that Jax had followed me... He had spied on me when I used my powers.

I ran past Jax who had quickly run to the pool. "Emma? What's wrong?" I ignored him I wasn't in the mood to talk.

I ran home, I can't believe it. I lost my first boyfriend ever.

~the next day, before the dance~

"Emma, are you in there?" Maddie impatiently yelled.

"No." I shouted back.

"Let us in. We want to talk to you." Maddie screamed into the window.

"Who's us?" I said in a concerned tone.

"Me and Andi."

"Fine, come in." I said in an annoyed tone.
I almost dropped my coffee. "Maddie, what is he doing here?!?!" I asked my frenemy as I stared at Jax in the doorway.

"He saw you run away crying yesterday and he cared enough to tell us." They all looked at me.

"Emma, I'm sorry you too broke up." Jax told me, he looked very sympathetic.

"It's ok, it was-" then I paused and walked up to him. "I haven't told anyone about our break up yet... How do you know?"

A look of guilt crossed Jax's face. "I just guessed..." I could tell he was lying.

"Were you spying on me, yesterday?!?!"

"Pshhhh no."

"Maddie, Andi, my room, now. Andi and Maddie obediently followed my lead. "I have to erase his memory."

"Why?" They both asked at the same time. So I explained what happened about me and Daniel breaking up and me casting spells. "If he was spying on me, then he saw me. He can't know I have powers."

"Oh." Andi said. "I'd hate to be Jax. Ok let's go back to the living room. He's probably wondering why we're taking so long." So we walked back downstairs.

"Jax, you saw some things last night that you weren't supposed to see. I'll have to erase your memory of the past 24 hours. I can't explain why."

"But Em-" I cut him off.

"Im sorry but...

You saw stuff you shouldn't see
So erase 24 hours of your memory

The magenta color flowed from my fingertips once again. But this time something strange happened. It stopped in the middle of Jax and I. Met by a dark blue color coming from Jax's fingertips.

I gasped.

Then fainted.
