Chapter 25: Daisy the Baby Bear (Robotic Toy's Origins)

Alice watched as she saw Daisy playing with a mechanical baby doll that could eat, drink and use a diaper. She weakly smiled seeing how much fun her daughter was having.

Alice saw the Daisy the Bearcub robot walk over, and a small electronic beep emitted from Daisy's watch, "I found you" The Robot giggled, as Daisy giggled. Her daughter hugged the robot, and told Daisy to go back to her stage. The robot listened and left.

As her daughter brushed out the blonde hair on the doll an idea sparked in Alice's head: make a mechanical bear cub that can eat, drink, and use a diaper. So she grabbed her notepad and scribbled out a concept sketch: The bear would wear a light green and white collared floral dress, light green Mary Janes, and a Daisy flower crown with a pink heart Necklace and wrote out what the doll would do.
1. Has brush-able golden fur
2. A small snout where it'll move to "chew food" up
3. The pretend food is made up of cornstarch, baking soda, and water, along with certain food coloring for certain foods
4. The Liquid drinks are the same as the pretend food, just add more water

Then Alice wrote out some accessories
1. Pink Baby Car Seat
2. Baby high chair (in the shape of Alice's Playzone pink bear high chair)
3. Pink Bear Pram with hood
4. Green and white flower print bag
5. Pink heart baby bib
6. Green Baby bottle
7. Green pacifier
8. Pink Hairbrush with Alice's Playzone Logo
9. Pink crib with Alice Playzone Logo (there would be a gold star mobile attachment, plays Daisy's Melody), has green bedding and blankets
10. 4 pack - 20 pack of pink diapers
11. 4 pack - 20 packs of Baby food
12. 4 pack - 20 packs of Baby Powder
13. Green and white floral Play Yard
14. Pretend pink Washing Machine and Dryer with sounds (can be filled with water for the washer and would act like how a normal Washer and Dryer should work)(comes with a variety of scented detergents and a variety of scented Dryer sheets)-No wait, better idea! The scents would be based on the scented plushies
15. Pretend pink Toy Kitchen with a yellow Fridge (Bear shaped Blender, press it 5 or more times to mix up powdered food with water) (The stove makes a fake sizzling sound or bubbling sound)
16. Pretend white clawfoot Bathtub (can be filled with water: Bear is waterproof)
17. Pretend white Picnic Table (comes with optional umbrella)
18. Pretend green and white floral Travel Kit with pink bear-themed Suitcases
19. Pretend school set with Alice the Singing Bear backpack
20. Pretend pink and yellow camping set with Alice the Singing Bear Sleeping bag
21. Pink bear forks, spoons, and knives. Also a matching Pink bear plates

Then Alice wrote out on another sheet of paper different outfits for the bear cub doll

6. Pink Heart Pajamas
7. Pink dress with Pink Mary Jane

10. Pink rain outfit with pink rain boots and pink heart-white umbrella
11. Light green dress with light green Mary janes
12. Red dress that looks like Suzie's dress with red Mary Janes and a red pillbox hat (attaches via magnet)
13. Pink T-shirt with heart and red skirt set

When she looked up, Daisy was missing? Her baby doll was still in the seat, so where did she go?

She quickly put down her notepad and called out Daisy's name, telling her that Mommy would be very angry if she didn't come out of hiding.

Then she found the Daisy the Bearcub robot, staring at the Employee's Only door near the main stage. "Go back to your stage Daisy" Alice commanded, but the robot wouldn't move, which made her worried. When she tried to open the door, it wouldn't budge, like it was locked from the inside.

Suddenly she heard her brother scream, it she ran to where she heard the sound; it was the kitchen.

She screamed as she saw her brother lying there, burnt, unconscious. She called the cops and let them know of what happened to her brother.

March 1st, 2013
Alice sighed, her daughter was still missing, but she finally finished the mechanical baby bear toy (mostly from the pressure of her mom and her husband) "I wish you could play with the toy Daisy, if you are still alive somewhere" Alice muttered, as she softly cried, then she watched as it was like a ghost was playing with the toy and having fun.

"Is that you Daisy? " Alice asked, sniffling, wiping her eyes. "Who are you talking to hun? Daisy's dead because of you" Mark snapped as Alice snapped at him to shut up. Alice cried again, it hurt her that Mark was blaming her for Daisy's death: all she was doing was trying to make a new toy for Daisy when she was killed.

Mark rolled his eyes, and let out a scoff as he went back to typing on the computer.

She saw the ghost grab a piece of paper and wrote in Daisy's handwriting "Please don't cry, mommy! I'm still here! Thank you for finishing this toy for me!"

Alice covered her mouth to stifle a sob as she was happy seeing her daughter's ghost was still with her. "I wish I could see you" Alice wrote on the paper, as she played with the mechanical bear toy with Daisy's ghost, smiling. "So do you like it?" Alice wrote on a new piece of paper as Daisy replied "Yes mommy! I love it very much!!"

Alice got out the whole toy set that would go along with the "Daisy the Baby Bear Package", she set it down on the beige tile floor and filled up the pretend bathtub with water from her water bottle. She recorded it as Daisy made the Daisy the Baby Bear take a bath, then dried it off, dressed it in the poppy red dress and red Mary Jane, put the pink and red heart bib on, and then sat it in its high chair. Daisy's ghost then cooked its pretend dinner on the stove, she turned the knob to med. pressing a button the showed a sizzling pan. 

Then Daisy's ghost made the pretend juice by pressing the fake blender 10 times adding more water (using the water bottle Alice had out). Daisy's ghost turned off the stove, set the food on the baby high chair table, putting the juice in its baby bottle.

She saw Daisy's ghost through the recorder smiling at her "Time to feed you little me!", as she fed the Baby Bear doll its pretend dinner and juice. "Time to change you!" She heard Daisy speak through the camera, then Daisy changed the Bear doll's diaper, wiping the fur, and put on a new diaper, holding the Baby Bear doll up to the camera saying "All fed and cleaned! Time for bed!" Daisy's ghost changed the clothes into poppy red pajamas and laid the bear doll in its crib with the pink bear plush and tucked it in, turning on the mobile. She saw Daisy's ghost put the dirty clothes into the pretend washer, adding pretend detergent and water, and pressed the start button. The Washer ended after 2 minutes making a little chime sound. Then Daisy put the wet clothes in the dryer, added pretend lavender scented dryer sheets, and started it. After 2 minutes the dryer was done, making another chime sound, then Daisy hung up the clothes, happily giggling.

"Whats that sound?" Mark snapped as she turned off the recorder, putting it on her desk as she turned off the mobile. "Just testing the doll again before we mass produce it" She sighed, as he snapped they dont need to test it 50 different times, he already had his coworkers child test it.

She emptied out the tub and cleaned the stuff out, taking the batteries out of the washer, kitchen, mobile, and dryer, sighing, she saw Daisy wrote on a piece of paper "Why is daddy so mean?"

Alice put the toys back in its packaging, putting more bubble wrap in it. She set the Baby bear doll on her desk though. She wondered if Daisy's ghost could posses it or if Daisy ghost could freely possess whatever object she wanted to.

"Maybe she could possess this mechanical toy though because she always wanted to try it out" Alice pondered, turning off the mechanical bear, taking out its batteries.
