2. Couples Reunion

After four hours of driving, Troy finally pulled into his parents driveway. He got out after parking and went over to help Gabriella out of the passenger's side. "Thanks, Wildcat."

"Of course, My Lovely Lady." He replied taking her hand.

She hopped down softly and closed the door. Troy then led her to the front door of the house and knocked. "Come in! It's open!" Came a woman's reply.

Troy opened the door and led her inside. They walk into the living room and there sits Jack Bolton, Troy's father with a smile on his face. "Jack gets up and hugs him. "Welcome Home, Son."

"Thanks, Dad." Troy said pulling away.

Jack then hugged Gabriella. "Congrats on the science path."

"Thanks, Mr. Bolton." Gabby replied. "Where's Lucille? We have some news for when Chad and Taylor get here."

"She's in the kitchen preparing dinner. She couldn't wait to get started after finding out you both received degrees in your majors and music. Plus she thought you got too skinny."

"Too skinny? I actually gained weight since we last saw you guys. And you'll find out soon why."

Jack just shrugged his shoulders when another knock on the door came. "It's open!" Lucille called from the kitchen.

The door opened and in walked the awaited couple Chad and Taylor. "Hey, Guys!" Taylor and Chad said and each hugged their BEST friend before the other.

"Chad, Taylor, we have some news. MAJOR news." Troy announced.

"Is it about the wedding?" Chad asked.

Taylor hit her husband over the head for the stupid question. Gabriella giggled. "No. But we have to wait for Lucy."

Everyone sat down and five minutes passed in comfortable silence when Lucille Bolton finally came in from the kitchen. "There's my favorite graduating college couple! Come give me a hug!"

Troy and Gabriella laughed and stood up to give Lucy a small group hug. Lucy also gave Gabby a mother's kiss to her temple and they all sat back down. "So..." Troy started.

"Our major news is that..." Gabby continued.

"We're gonna be PARENTS!" They said excitedly in unison.

Jack looked like he was contemplating the news. Lucille and Taylor jumped up squealing bringing Gabriella into a hug. Chad stood up smiling and gave Troy a man hug. "Congrats, Man!"

"Thanks."

"So how far along?" Taylor asked.

"Six weeks." Gabby replied.

"That's so cool. When'd you find out?"

"Yesterday. I had a regular doctor's check-up and I told him I was late this month, so he had me take a pregnancy test. It came back positive and I was so excited, that I couldn't wait to tell Troy when he picked me up today. Then he said we were meeting you two here and I knew we had to tell everyone together."

"I can't believe it. I'm gonna be an aunt!"

"And I'M gonna be a grandma." Lucille said. "This is such great news. Who you gonna tell next?"

"I think we're gonna have the rest of the gang get together so we can tell them all at once."

"Good idea. When?"

"Saturday. That way we can plan it as a party."

"Sweet! I'll take care of the details." Taylor said happily.
