**Estelle’s POV**
The next day was better than last night.
I woke up feeling lighter, as if the unease from the previous night had faded with the morning sun. Maybe I had imagined it. Maybe it was just the exhaustion playing tricks on my mind. Either way, I refused to let it ruin my day—especially not when my best friends were coming over.
By noon, Harmony, Olivia, and Rielly had arrived at the mansion, their energy instantly lifting the entire house.
“I swear, this place is ridiculous,” Olivia said, dramatically spinning around in the grand foyer. Her curls bounced with every movement. “If I lived here, I’d be walking around in silk robes, drinking champagne for no reason.”
“You already do that,” Harmony teased, flipping her hair over her shoulder. “You just don’t have the mansion to match.”
Rielly, always the firecracker, smirked. “I’d throw the craziest parties in here. You’re really wasting this space, Estelle.”
I rolled my eyes but grinned. “I like my peace, thank you very much. But today, I am making an exception for you three.”
We spent the afternoon lounging by the pool, sipping on fresh fruit smoothies while catching up on everything from work drama to the latest gossip. Harmony, ever the hopeless romantic, was deep in analyzing a situationship she had no business being in. Olivia, the self-proclaimed expert in men, offered her “professional” advice, while Rielly just sat back, entertained by the entire conversation.
After a while, we moved inside to the home theater, sprawling across the oversized couches with bowls of popcorn and candy scattered around us. A rom-com played on the massive screen, though half the time, we were talking over it.
Then Rielly suddenly sat up, eyes gleaming with mischief. “You know what we should do?”
I raised a brow, already knowing I was about to regret whatever she was about to say. “I feel like I don’t want to know.”
“We should go to a club tonight!” she announced, clapping her hands together. “It’s been forever since we’ve gone out together. We need a night of dancing, drinks, and looking hot.”
Harmony gasped in excitement. “Oh my god, yes! We haven’t done a girls’ night out in forever.”
Olivia smirked, twirling a strand of her hair. “I wouldn’t mind putting on something sexy and turning heads.”
I opened my mouth to protest, but the three of them were already looking at me expectantly, their eyes daring me to say no.
“Fine,” I sighed, shaking my head. “But I get to pick the club.”
They all cheered, and just like that, our night was set.
Later That Night,The energy in our bedroom was electric as we got ready, music blasting from the speakers while we did our hair and makeup.
I stood in front of my full-length mirror, adjusting the silky dress that clung to my curves like it was made for me. The color—a deep sapphire blue—popped beautifully against my rich, dark skin, making me look like midnight come to life. The fabric shimmered under the light, the thin straps leaving my shoulders bare while the cowl neckline added a touch of elegance. It hugged my waist before flowing down, ending mid-thigh in a way that was both classy and undeniably seductive.
My hair was styled in sleek, glossy body waves that cascaded down my back, framing my face perfectly. A soft glow of makeup enhanced my features—highlight catching the light just right on my cheekbones, a deep brown lip liner paired with a nude gloss, and a sultry touch of eyeliner to bring out my eyes.
I was just slipping on my silver strappy heels when the bedroom door opened.
Tiberius walked in, his fingers working on uncuffing his crisp white dress shirt. His tie was already loosened, the top buttons undone, exposing a hint of his strong chest. His sharp gaze landed on me, and he stilled mid-motion.
For a long moment, he didn’t say anything. Just took me in, his expression unreadable.
Then, in that low, deep voice that sent shivers down my spine, he said, “You look stunning, Estelle.”
A slow, satisfied smile pulled at my lips as I turned to face him fully. “You think so?”
He exhaled, stepping closer, his presence commanding even in his relaxed state. “I know so.” His eyes traveled over me, dark and heavy with something unreadable before they flicked back to mine. “Where are you going looking like that?”
“The club,” I answered simply, watching his reaction.
His jaw ticked slightly, but he didn’t argue. Instead, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his Amex Black Card, holding it between two fingers. “Take this.”
His lips quirked in that almost-smile of his. “In case you decide you want the VIP section. Or anything else.”
I smirked, taking the card from him. “That I will do.”
He hummed, brushing his knuckles against my jaw in a way that sent warmth blooming in my chest.
I didn’t respond, just held his gaze, letting the weight of his words settle between us.
A knock at the door interrupted the moment. “Estelle, hurry up!” Olivia’s voice called.
Tiberius exhaled through his nose before stepping back. “Be safe,” he said.
I smirked, waving the card at him playfully. “Always.” he leans in pecking my lip before he walks towards the walk in closet.
As I left the room, I found my girls already waiting, dressed to kill.
Olivia had chosen a fiery red mini dress that clung to her curves, her honey-brown curls styled in a high ponytail, accentuating her sharp cheekbones. She wore strappy gold heels, her lips painted a bold red to match.
Harmony, always one for elegance, wore a deep emerald green dress with a thigh-high slit, her straight blonde hair falling down her back in sleek perfection. Her gold accessories gleamed against her fair skin, and she carried herself with effortless confidence.
Rielly, ever the troublemaker, opted for a sleek, form-fitting white dress with a plunging neckline. Her jet-black hair were styled in voluminous waves, and her smoky eye makeup gave her an edge of mystery. Paired with silver heels and diamond hoops, she looked every bit the heartbreaker she was.
“Damn,” Rielly grinned, looking me up and down. “We look good.”
Harmony beamed. “We look dangerous.”
“And I love it,” Olivia smirked.
I laughed, shaking my head. “Let’s go.”
The night was ours. And I had a feeling it was going to be unforgettable.
