I'm trying to rush this story to get this over with since I had this story for such a long time !

The room was silent expect for the beeping of the machine's monitoring Yukios vitals.Its been days after that incident.His face is pale ,breathing steady but weak.Naruto and the others been checking up on him.Naruto stood with his arm crossed, his expression unusually serious.Hikari gently brushing Yukio hairs from his face while Sasuke leaned against the wall,deeply in thought.

Silence was in the air.No words but enough to tell their concerns for the young boy.Just out nowhere, Yukio finally stirred.His finger twitched and his eyes fluttered open,hazy with confusion.

"Yukio!" Hikari gasped softly,leaning closer "You're finally awake."

Naruto exhaled in relief."You're in the hospital, kid. You worried us y'all know?"

Yukios brows furrowed as flashes of memory rush back-being tied up,the ropes digging into his wrist—The chilling voices of the captor.He sat up suddenly, breathing heavy.

"They....they took me.." he muttered,his hands trembling slightly.

Sasuke stepped forward."Who?"Do you remember what they looked like?"

Yukio look at him and then look down.He squeeze his eyes shut,trying to remember. The captor face remained a blur—shadowed, unrecognizable.

"I-I don't know..." Yukio admitted,frustrated in his tone."But... I remember what they told me."

"Go on.." Hikari urged

Yukio swallowed hard.The words echoed in his mind."For you to go back.You think you belong to that world?That you are meant to be there?"

His heart pounded as he spoke aloud."Uhm..they said I'm not meant to go back home."

Hikari clenched her fist hard."That's fucking stupid Tch...."

Yukio softly look at her."I guess so...but they didn't hurt me that much.They just wanted me to stay...?"

"Don't say such stupid words Yukio." As Hikari glared at him

Sasuke eye darkened."This isn't just a kidnapping. They have a reason for keeping you here."

Yukio lowered his head,his finger gripping the blanket.

The tension in the hospital room was thick.Yukios word hanging over them,but then another problem surfaced.

Naruto sighed running a hand through his hair. "We have another issues..the portal."

"Huh?What do you mean?" Yukio ask

Sasuke crossed his arms."It's not working."

Yukio blink still recovering."What?But I thought you guys have figured it out?"

Hikari shook her head."We try doing it when you were recovering but..."

Naruto continued "But sometime was off.No matter how much chakra we put into it,it won't stabilize."

Yukio glanced at him "Could it be interference?"

"Possibly but whether it's natural or intentional, we don't know"

Yukio hesitated before speaking "..What if it's because of me?"

All eyes turned on him.

Naruto frowned "What do you mean?"

"What if...whatever's stopping the portal is tied to me?What if I cant go back?"

Silence filled the room.The idea was unsettling but not impossible.

Hikari finally spoke "Then we need to figure out why and fast."

"We will find another way, so don't worry much Yukio" as Naruto try to cheer him up

"Hm" Sasuke nodded.

Yukio looked at them,his chest tightened.He wasn't sure if he wanted to go back anymore—not knowing the truth.

Whatever was delaying the portal—... it wasn't a coincidence.
