Another universe?

Yukio stepped outside the hospital, the cooling evening air hitting his face.It was refreshing. His older sister decided to go home- well it wasn't their home but still that beyond the point!She needed rest after all of this.

He exhaled slowly,trying to shake the unease settling in his chest.He walk in silence for a few minutes, the street quieter than usual.Apparently he heard Naruto and Sasuke kids are not coming back for a long time.I guess they really want them to not see us..

As Yukio was in deep thought he didn't realize somebody was behind him.

A quiet presence settled behind him, that kind of chill up his spine before he even turn around. Yukio stopped walking.

"I thought I'd find you here"

"S-Sasuke!"

Without a word,Sasuke fell into step beside him. His moments were smooth, the way they had always been.

Yukio kept his gaze forward,but his mind wandered elsewhere-back to the real world he been pulled from.

His home.His real home.

He thought of the quiet mornings when Hinata would fuss over breakfast while Sasuke sat at the table, drinking his tea with that ever-serious expression.His training with his older brother and Hikari poking his forehead all the times everytime she leave to go to a mission.But that change ever since she was gone.

He miss the warmth of their presence but now here he was,now a world that barely acknowledges him.A world where Sasuke beside him wasn't his father, where Hinata isn't his mother.A world where Naruto's kids,Sasukes kids weren't here- not because they couldn't be, but because they shouldn't see him.

Like he was a problem

Like he wasn't supposed to be here

"Your thoughts are too loud"

Yukio flinched slightly. He glanced over , but Sasuke eyes were trained ahead,unreadable as ever.

"You're thinking about them" Sasuke continued, it wasn't a question.

Yukio swallowed."Yeah"

Sasuke was quiet for a moment.Then "You miss them."

"Y-yeah it's been a mess ever since I been here. I feel like I don't know where I'm supposed to be.I just woke up and don't feel like coming back..?" Unsure to himself. "It's like I placed here.Like I'm not suppose to be in either world."

Sasuke hummed in thought "Then we need to figure out why."

Yukio gave him a sideline glance "You're taking this pretty well."

Sasuke smirked faintly. "You think this is the strangest thing I've ever dealt with?"

Yukio huffed a quiet laugh

They continue walking,the silence between them was no longer heavy, but contemplative.

As they walked, the quiet hum of the village surrounded them- distant chatter and the wind through the trees.

He barely noticed when Sasuke slowed beside him, his glaze shifting slowly.Yukio followed his line of sight and froze.

Standing just ahead,not far from the entrance to a familiar street- was her.

Hinata!

She looked surprised to see them."Sasuke...Yukio" she greeted,her voice as gentle as ever."Youre out of the hospital already?"

Yukio nodded unsure what to say.He still wasn't use to seeing her-

"He needed air" Sasuke say simply

Hinata studied Yukio for a moment,her expression unreadable. Then,she offered a small smile."Would you both like to come over for dinner?"

Yukio blink,caught off guard.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow."Naruto won't mind?"

Hinata shook her head."He won't.He would want you both there."She glanced at Yukio again, something knowing in her gaze."Beside.. it's been a while since we had company."

Yukio wasn't sure what to say.Eating at a dinner with  a version of the family he once had but wasn't his.

It was different when he was at dinner with Sasuke and Sakura.He didn't mind since he wasn't being all gloomy before all this mess happened!

However Sasuke didn't hesitate."Alright"

Yukio glanced at him surprised, but Sasuke didn't even look at his way.

Hinata smiled "Alright I'll let him know."

As she turned and walked ahead.Yukio wondered in thoughts

This wasn't his home-this wasn't his family.

But for tonight...he would sit at their table.

Omg I keep forgetting this is a Sasuke and hinata story but got distracted with the plot. I'm trying to show a bond with Yukio and Sasuke. Also with hinata so stay tuned!
