The Street Fighter Claimed Me?

Chapter 3

When reaching Topped Off, Maddox opened the door for me, sweet but it doesn't get him off the hook. I went to the register to order me a ice coffee with milk, Maddox ordered a regular plain black coffee, I found was a booth in the back where I could see the door in-case my brothers, Jessica, or Brody came looking for me, and where Maddox and I could talk without being interrupted. First neither of us started talking, so we just sat drinking our coffee. I could see Maddox getting tenser, so I started the conversation, seeing as how Maddox doesn't really talk that much.

"Maddox about this morning, I'm sorry I shouldn't have gone off on you like that. I didn't mean to take my anger out on you, one of my brothers, Daniel, pissed me off this morning. So I'm sorry again Maddox, I don't go off like that on anybody I like." I stated.

"You like me?" Maddox asked with his usual smirk.

"Out of everything I fucking said, that's the only thing you got out of that?" I asked annoyed with him.

"No Brie, it isn't. I'm sorry I was just trying to lighten the mood, trying to get that beautiful smile that I saw last night back." He explained.

"Oh." Was all I said.

"And sweetheart, I sort of figured it was your brothers or at least one of them that pissed you off. And if you want to call me like that again and vent, I don't mind, but please don't hang up on me. If you call me like that let me know where you're at so I can come to you and not worry about where you might run off to."

"Okay, I didn't mean to make you worry." I said whole-heartily.

"I know, and I also know that this whole thing between us is going really fast for the both of us, seeing as how we just met last night, but I feel as if we have a connection, and I don't want that to disappear. So I will not be like one of those pussy boys, you went to high school with, I will stand up against your brothers and Brody, just so I can be with you. And if they don't like that then your brothers and Brody can screw off. Because I'm not letting you go." Maddox told me with a look of determination in his eyes.

"I guess I can live with that" I said laughing. 

A second later the door opened, and I saw that it was just Ashley, Austin, and Justin. They saw where we were sitting and came towards us. Maddox looked behind him to see what had drew my attention from him, and came and sat beside in the booth. I don't think he liked my attention being diverted from him, cause his smile now turned into a frown. I pulled his face towards me, he looked at me with a look of confusion, I had to smile at that. I pulled his face down to mine and gave him a sweet peck on the lips. When we pulled back Maddox gave me one his breath-taking smiles. Ashley, Austin, and Justin was at the table when we pulled back, shocked as hell. Austin was the first to break the silence when we looked at them.

"Brie how the hell did you get Mad to smile?" Austin asked.

"I have my ways, now are you three going to sit down or just stand there?" I asked.

That seemed to break them out of whatever was going in their heads. Austin slid into the booth across from me and then Ashley, Justin pulled a chair to the end of the table and just looked at us. Ashley was looking bored, just sitting there sipping her coffee. Like her I was getting bored. I looked at Ashley and noticed she had the same similar features towards Austin then Justin. Blonde hair, green eyes, athletic body, five feet four maybe five inches. I remember Ashley now, she was one the cheer-leading team, captain if I remember. She was probably the only cheerleader I could stand, but never got to talk to her because of my brother. 

"So Ashley are you still cheer-leading?" I asked her.

"Not really, stopped after high school. You remember me?" She asked.
