First night
It's dark cold, you can't see any light other then the two flashlights on peoples phones, and the moons reflection on the water. It's quiet the children that made it are sleeping, and some adults. All you can hear are there soft breaths and the splashing of the waves on the raft.No one is crying now, but maybe on the inside,I know I am.
Jason has been holding my hand the whole time,it helps. His warm angel soft hand, and the soft smell of cologne being carried by the breeze.I feel safer with him,I start to feel my eyes trying to force them selves closed,so I let them.I feel Jason softly letting my head rest in his lap,and I fall asleep.
Second day
When I wake up Jason is still asleep, still holding me.He looks so at peace when he is sleeping, like what is happening doesn't exist.I see other people passing around small food packages, and one bottle of water.I get handed one they tell me one package is for two people as well as the water.I open the package of food and take one serving, then I take one sip of water. What we are doing is okay for now ,but every one needs to agree on how we are to conserve as much as we can.Jason starts to gently wake up,I explain to him the food and water situation, and he starts eating his share.Everything seems okay for now but I know from here it only gets worse which comes sooner then I thought it would.I start to hear screaming and see a woman pointing to someone that appears to be dead.
"What do we do!?." Shouts one of the hostess.
I immediately answer,
"We have to throw him over board."
An uproar came from every direction.
"What!!!"
"Sick! Your insane!"
"Why don't we just throw you over board.!"
"Shut up!!!" I screamed
"If you want to sleep with a rotting corpse be my guest, after that we will all get sick from it and we will all die."
It was quiet for a little bit, then someone quietly pushed the body over board. Then I had a thought.
"Wait!! Quick grab the body and tie a rope to it fish will come to eat it and we can catch fish that way after that we can officially get rid of the body."
No one protested this time.I felt bad for saying that but I know that to survive we will all have to do things we don't like.
