My mouth is dry, lips cracked, skin white and flaky, hair tangled and damped with oil,and my world is surrounded by nothing but water. My mind is swirling with thoughts, what is my dad doing, where am I, has my mom stopped crying for her only child? I feel like Im in a never ending emptiness with only a slight glimmer of hope, someone is looking for me, and they might find me. The only other light I see is Jason, he has never for a moment left my side or stopped holding me until the heat is unbearable, we barely know each other but yet he still acts as if he has known me his whole life...like he loves me. Maybe I act like I love him to. I start waking up from my day dream of despair as one of the flight attendant ladies start crying in fear.
In a weak cracked voice she says,"We are out of food". People didn't have the strength to panic, but I could tell they were screaming inside themselves. I got on my knees and decided to take control.
"We need to find food, what do we have in supplies?"
The flight attendant took a look in the large bright orange bag.
"We have another week of water, a whistle, flare gun, blankets, knife, duck tape, and raft glue."
I didn't have to think for a second on what I had to do.
"Give me the knife and duck tape."
I was going to make a fishing rod.
" Does anyone have any sort of stick or rod?!"
A girl about 14 raised her hand and said,
"I have a selfie stick."
"Good. thank you."
I broke of the phone holder on the selfie stick and taped the knife on it.
"Now all we have to do is keep an eye out for fish, every one needs to be looking."
And every one did just that, there was not one minute some one wasn't looking into the water looking for fish. And there wasn't a moment when I wasn't thinking of food, water, my breathing, my mother, my father. It was at least 4 hours before someone saw something.
"Hey,Hey! There's fish!"
I squeezed my way over to where they were sitting , and sure enough there was a whole school of fish close enough to the surface I could possible kill a few. I got my rod and held it near the water, I waited a few seconds then flew my arm down towards the water, miss.
I tried at least 10 more times...no luck.
I was about to give up but decided to try one more time, pure pressured by all the eyes and faces staring at me. I pulled back then swung
full force, but this time I hit something.
