NOT goodbye

chapter 1

"wakeupwakeupwakeuphurrycomon!!" my bestfriend marie screams while jumping on top of me

I checked the time, 7:00, school starts at 7:25 and i was gonna be late. "Hurry up i'll wait downstairs"anicka said.

She has always been my bestfriend, ever since she was born actually. She was really good at being there for me, like when i had detention, she stayed in detention with me so i wouldn't be bored.I tried my best to quickly change into my creme lace printed shorts along with a blue crop top that barley shows my stomach, then wearing my bethany mota sandels to match. Then i straitened my hair and applyed my makeup. A little eyeshadow and a little mascara:)

"readyyy" i yelled as i jumped halfway down the stairs and suprisingly sticking the landing. I laughed and grabbed my lunch as marie and my mom clapped for me, i bowed.

"where's Noah?" i said

"at school, and you two should be too, go!" madre said

the walk to school isn't that far considering we got there with 5 minutes to spare. As i was walking to my locker Daniel, the super popular boy since he' internet famous,also my other best friend who usually walks to school with marie and i in the morning, walks up to my locker.

"I'm so sorry about this morning i slept in late and rushed to get here." i said

"its okay i figured you either slept in or forgot about me,"he said giving a frowny face

"aw, did you get lonely" i said pouting

"yes" he frowned

"aw poor little baby" i laughed walking away

"no hug?" he asked and i turned around ran up to him and jump hugged him and he whispered

"i love you bestfriend" which took me by suprise considering he's never said that before but i said back,

"i love you too bestfriend." :) then i walked off to homeroom

The rest of the day was boring, as usual, and marie was sent home early cause she had a dentist appointment so just me and daniel on the way home. Once he found me at the schools flag, our little spot, he grabbed my hand saying,"comon bestfriend!"

"How was your day?" he asked

"alright,and yours?"i asked still walking hand in hand with daniel. We never have held hands before,but i must admit, it kinda just felt right.It wasn't awkward which was good.

"i mean, it was, school" he said groaning

"Gracie come over to my house and hangout with me?" he asked getting down on one knee, letting go of my hand

"sure danny" i said giggling

i go over to his house a lot because i'm either at his house or anicka's.

i ran home first to tell my mom im going to dannys so she doesn't freakout. although my mom rarely cares where i am my dad is very overprotective.when i get to daniels house i ring the doorbell and his mom anwsers.

"Gracie, honey come right on in! Daniels in his room." she says

i walk into daniels room and find him shirtless

"yay or nay?" he said causing me to snap out of staring at his shirtless torso. wow, i mean, he is just, nevermind...

"yay" i said covering my mouth noticing i said that out loud and he just laughed

"lets watch a movie?" he said putting on a hoodie

"yasss! i suggest the notebook?" i said

"again?" he laughed

"yes again! please danny!" i begged and got done on one knee

halfway into the movie i was crying already and i looked over to see danny peacefully sleeping. he looked so cute when he was sleeping, and when he wasn't. Holy shit nonononono...i like daniel. maybe it's not a bad thing? i carefully took his head off my shoulder and left his bed quietly so i wouldn't wake him up and grabbed my phone off his dresser and left his house. On my phone i saw many text messages and calls from my parents and a couple messages from marie. i ran next door to my house and entered quietly since it was 11:56. as i walked in i saw both my parents sitting there waiting for me.

"where were you?" madre asked

"daniels" i replied

"doing what" she asked

i was amazed that my dad hasn't screamed at me yet

"watching a movie and i completely lost track of time im so sorry it will never happen again but nothing happened."

"you need to tell us where you are and where you're going at all times!"my mom said yelling

still my dad not moving a muscle

"i'm sorry!okay, it will not happen again!" i yelled then covered my mouth

my mom pointed me to upstairs indicating i had to go to my room

i ran to my room and jumped onto my bed letting out a big sigh. my door opened... it was Nolan.

"you okay?" he asked

"yea, just- i was cut off by my dad barging into my room

"gace ann mcdonald i swear to gosh you're such a dissapointment!" he said loud enough to be a yell but only me and Nolan could hear him

"dad all that happened was i didn't text you guys i was still there and i know thats kinda a big deal but im so- he slapped me

"DAD LEAVE NOW!!"nolan said shoving him out and he just said

"she deserves it"

i held my face in shock and pain and cried

"gracie gracie are you ok?" nolan asked

i nodded kepping my face down

"look at me" he demanded

i looked at him as he gasped
