Momma's Visit

A couple of weeks later Laura’s mother came in to visit. Every couple of years Lana invites herself to Laura’s apartment and begins attempting to “fix” her world.

Lana, Laura’s mother, is a statuesque woman. Even though she was in her late 50s she still carried herself like she was still that hearththrob in her early 20s that all of the men used to chase.

Now she has cut her hair into one of those short styles. Her body has held up and her curves still cause a man to stare from time to time.

Laura’s mother is a widow. Her husband, Laura’s father, died about 4 years before. Now she has enjoyed being single and unattached. Sometimes she would be dating a young hot 30 year old and other times she would date a distinguished 60 year old. She still had it and she enjoyed when men recognized it.

Laura loved her mother, but hated every time she would be coming to visit. But surprisingly she always hated every time when it was time for Lana’s visit to end.

On that Wednesday morning, Lana was already up and her makeup was on. And she was banging on Laura’s door. “Get up, you don’t want to be late for work.”

“Mother, I don’t get up for another half hour.”

“Come on dear, the early bird catches the worm.”

Laura hated that when her mother told her that when she was 10 years old. It almost drove her insane when she heard it now.

Laura went ahead and got up and took her shower and prepared for work. When she walked out of her room she found Lana dressed up like she was going on a date.

“Are you going to wear that ‘fuck me’ dress?” Laura said.

Lana was looking into a compact mirror working on her makeup. She said, “Language young lady…I taught you better than that…and didn’t you say I have to meet this handsome Dr. Stevens you have been telling me about.” Lana said

“Mother…” Laura said hoping that her mother doesn’t embarrass her.

They went out and ate breakfast at a pancake restaurant and then they got to work around 9. They saw Carol at the front desk. “Hey Carol, this is my mother Lana, she is going to be with me for a little while.”

Carol greeter her mother but had to get back to work. Carol took her around introducing her to the geek squad and then Steve and Janet. Laura caught Steve stealing a glance of her mother’s butt while she walked away. Laura thought to herself, yes my mother still has it.

Then I took her to Dr. Stevens. Dr. Stevens eyes jumped out of his head as he tripped over himself to get to her. He shook her hand. She smiled politely and greeted him and then left with me.

We stopped at Ashley’s door. She gave us the usual hello and we talked for a few minutes before moving on to the next door, which was Micheal’s. Laura felt a little apprehensive, but she knocked on the door.

Micheal got up and opened the door. He was on his phone, but he asked the person on the other line to call back.

“Hello Laura and who have you brought to my room?” Micheal said.

“Hey Micheal, this is my mother Lana.”

“You should hope and pray what they say is right.” Micheal said to Laura.
