Just like the day he said goodbye to his father, the sky turned grey and he shed some tears. The weather was cold, gloomy and heavy, but unlike that time, Zhan was not alone in front of the cold coffin.

Wang Yibo and Xiao Ce were at his side, accompanying him to bid farewell to his other half. He had the last chance to see his twin brother's face and give him a kiss.

He placed a final kiss on his brother's cold forehead, caressed his pale face and dedicated a few words full of love and forgiveness. He said goodbye with the promise that one day they would meet again and continue together as always.

Although it was painful because he had lost half of his soul, after seeing the recording his brother had left behind, Zhan no longer felt angry towards him for deciding to leave alone. He finally understood that this was his other half's wish and that it was his way of getting rid of his pain and suffering.

He blamed himself for not having noticed what was happening to Sean, his condition. His older brother had always taken care of him and looked after his well-being, but when he needed it most, he overlooked something as serious and delicate as what Sean was going through.

But thanks to Wang Yibo's words, he was able to understand that not realizing what was happening to his twin was not his fault. He had hidden it so well that it was impossible to discover it, all in order not to cause him bitterness.

After the funeral, which was held in private and confidential, the three young people sat at the table while sharing hot tea. Zhan no longer felt so heavy in his soul, it still hurt but this pain was not as heartbreaking as the first time.

- You two will leave the country in two days.- Xiao Ce looked up.- Everything is already arranged.

- Where will we go?.- Yibo felt curious.

- To Russia, you two will go with your parents.

- I can't.- Zhan shook his head.

- Why do you say that?.- Yibo took his hand.

- How could I look your parents in the face after...?.- He lowered his head again.

- Mom Wang is not aware of what happened.- Xiao Ce smiled.- And Major Volkov...- He tilted his head.- Well... he does know but let's say he decided not to intervene.

In the officer's apartment, there were no more shouts, much less arguments. The first few days the Russian officer rarely left his room, after that he went out but did not stay in his apartment for long.

The relationship between the brothers had changed slightly, the same love as always existed but the intersections became scarce. The same with Zhan, Yunian was no longer hostile towards the black-haired boy, he just limited himself to living with him in the same space, interacting rarely and briefly.

Yibo felt that something strange was happening with his older brother but he didn't dare to investigate. Lately he had been noticing him different, dull, silent, even his bearing that had always been haughty and imposing seemed to be wearing away every day.
