(I do not own Naruto...at all.never have, never will...thank you)

After five minutes, Naruto got bored of hiding so he crept out of his hiding spot. All the adults had moved to the kitchen so he was alone in the room. He smiled and went to hide in the attic, once he got to the door he realized he needed to get the latter down. He jumped at it and pulled it from its hinge, coming down so he could climb it.

He then pulled it up and it locked back on its hinge except this time it lodged in on itself, locking it completely. He was in awe when he turned around, tons of scrolls and weapons were everywhere. A crib and an old bed, along with other objects and a music box. He walked over to a chest that had a broken lock on it. He pushed it open with a heaved sigh, "Wow." He says.

Naruto looked at the contents inside the chest, there was a Hokage over coat...his father must have had atleast four of them. There were ninja fingerless gloves and three pronged kuneai's with special seals. Under all of it was pictures of his mother and father from younger age to their age now, and even pictures of them with Jiraiya. Besides that there was was hand written letters as well. Naruto smiled and decided to go find even more interesting things, he looked around and noticed a secret door so he opened it to find a room filled with a desk and couch along with two chairs and a bunch of scrolls. One large scroll in particular was locked away and it caught Naruto's eye. Naruto went to the consealed scroll and decided to try and open the case it was sealed within. It was locked but he didn't notice, so he pulled harder. It shook unsteadily then his grip slipped. He tripped and fell backwards, "Darn it." He said and tried again.

He stood up and sighed in defeat, he turned and left the hidden room. He went to leave, finding the space non-hideable anymore but he couldn't get out. He began to cry, frightened that he was stuck in this attic all alone forever.

Itachi's findings

"...29...30! Ready or not, you better be hiding!" Itachi called out. 'Let's see, one of them is in the tree...Sasuke, I'm positive. Two are in the bushes in the garden...Sakura and Ino for sure. But, where's Naruto and Hinata?' Itachi thought. He found the girls first, then took a few minutes to pretend like he had a hard time finding his little brother. After about five minutes of looking outside he discovered Hinata was on the roof of the house where you could climb up from the hillside ledge, he went into the house hauling the four younger inside. He checked under all accessible hiding spots but still couldn't pin point Naruto.

"Itachi-Niisan? Where is Naruto?" Sasuke asked.

"I don't know, I can't find him." Itachi said a bit frightened that he had lost the Fourth Hokage's son.

"Let's ask the adults." Hinata squeaked.

"Yeah, maybe he decided to come back in and join the adults without us." Sakura says. Ino agrees and they all walk into the kitchen.

"Tousan, Kaasan, has young Naruto come in here?" Itachi asks.

"He isn't hiding in his favorite place?" Kushina asks. Interrupting the idol chit chat as the room went silent.

"No, I've checked every place...even under his table in the living room. I can't find him." Itachi says.

"Are you saying he's missing?" Said Fugaku, Kushina fainted. Mikoto began to fan the red haired female Uzumaki with a plate.
