It was about noon and I thought about what happened a few hours ago. Goddammit, Ross! Why did you have to walk in right then. Dan hadn't done anything about of the ordinary since then, but I was slightly nervous to see him again when we filmed steamrolled but I would manage. I never thought I could be attracted to a man, but then Dan storms in being all amazing and fucks everything in my head up. I heard a knock on the door and was snapped away from my thoughts of him. I opened the door to see a guy in his early twenties. "Hi, I'm Kevin. I'm supposed to start editing here today" "Oh, Hi Kevin! I'm Barry, the other editor. Come in, that's your desk right there." I said motioning towards the desk behind me. I sat down with him and showed him the borders, intro, and  endcard. He was already familiar with the program, so I didn't have to do much. I was emailing some people at Polaris about the new episode of table flip when Kevin tapped on my shoulder. I took off my headphones and turned towards him. "Hey Barry? What's a wolf job? Dan said to put it in and I'm confused." Kevin asked sheepishly. "Oh god. And it's only your first day. I'll send you the image." I pulled it up from the save file of stuff that the grumps frequently asked for. I sent it to Kevin. A few moments later heard a small squeal. I chuckled and walked in to film steamrolled. I saw that Ross was sat between Arin and Dan leaving space for me next to Dan. I sat down and we started playing as normal. About half way through the game I felt an arm snake around my waist. I glanced at Dan and he returned with a look of care. Like he actually cared about me. I don't think I know what that feels like. I smiled and cherished that moment.
I had finished editing for the day and was about to leave when Dan walked up to me. "Hey Bear! Do you want to grab some dinner?" Dan asked. Was this a date? Was Danny asking me on a date? I felt butterflies in my stomach. "Yeah sounds great." I replied pathetically trying to not sound too excited. "Cool, me and Arin were thinking sushi. What do you want?" My heart dropped in my stomach. It wasn't a date, why did I think it would be anway. I'm such an Idiot sometimes. "Yeah sushi is perfect." I said a little too upbeat overcompensating for my real emotions. "Awesome, arins already in the car. Let's go." "Let's" I said quietly.
