Chapter 7

Shannon's P.O.V.

"Toby!!!" Me and Alex yelled running towards our best friend. "Hey guys!!"  She yelled back. It's been three weeks since I last hung out with Cammie. We would Skype and texts non stop, until recently. I found out she got back with Carly. I've been working out non stop just to get my mind off of her. Alex got her stitches and splint removed so she is now able to practice and workout with us. Now we have only one week to practice as a team, our last game is here in Florida. 

"I missed you so much!" We are huddled together. We went on the rest of the day saying hi to the rest if the girls. I missed this family.

We were getting on the bus so that we could get to the stadium. Of course my seat partners were Tobin and Alex. "Hey look over here." I said to the two of them. Alex my a funny face while Tobin looked like she was forced to take the picture. Which she was.

I tagged them on Twitter and we started talking. Me and Tobin were talking about what she did over break while Alex was dozing off on my shoulder. "I met this cute girl but she was taken so yeah that happened." Tobin just chuckled and shook her head.

We kept talking until my phone started buzzing. It was Cammie. I ignored it not wanting to talk to her. "Oh. Giving her the silent treatment" I just gave her a look. "I'm mad at her. I gave her a shoulder to cry on and then she goes back to her ex. Not okay." Tobin looked at me "that's cold." She said.

"Alright lassies lets go" our coach said. "Alex, Tobe, Shann, you guys are running in the machine today so get dressed, stretch then meet over there" our trainer said. Great I hate running the machine.

I took off my Nike shirt and put on the team shirt. I had my 'ass grippers' on aka my super tight Nike shorts. Then over those I had my Nike pants on along with my Nike shoes. God I own too many Nike things.

Then again Nike sponsors me, Alex, and Tobes. "Sweet new running shoes" Toby spoke up. "I helped her pick them out" Alex yelled while brushed her hair back. "Aw. I wanted to be there with you guys." I laughed. "How about this, after practice we can go to the mall, go shopping!!" I said. "Deal" Tobes yelled going to the machine. "Yay" Alex said waiting for me.

I was putting my phone on the speaker when I got a text from Cammie.

Cammie: I know your mad. Just please answer the phone.

I ignored the text. Putting on the 90's-00's radio.  N-Sync started playing. We got hooked up to the machine and started running.

30 minutes later I was still going along with Tobin and Alex. I heard our trainer. "Ten more minutes and you're done." I wasn't really thinking just running clearing my mind from bad things. I had to get Cammie off my mind. She was such a distraction. Her beautiful green eyes, you could get lost them, blonde hair that was so soft and was as bright as the sun.

I didn't realize I was full in sprinting. "Shan calm down..... Slow down..... Kid you're gonna break the machine." Still I couldn't stop. "Shannon snap the fuck out of it!" I finally heard Alex's voice. "Shit" I said. I slowed down, I think it took 30 seconds to stop.

"Shan, you okay?" Toby said helping me walk to get water. "Yeah. I was just in the moment." She was staring at me. I know she knew I was lying. "When you're ready to tell me what happened I'll be right here k?" See I knew she knew me. Why must I have such amazing friends?

Cammie's P.O.V

"Carly really be real. I care about you and want to be with you." I was so fed up with Carly, but I was scared to leave her. "Look you wanna be with me deal with it okay. I drink and get high so fucking what?" She was being so stubborn
