Chapter 12

Shannon's P.O.V

I was woken up by a ray of light shinning on my face. I turned and was right next to Cammie, she was sleeping and looked peaceful. I just stared at her beauty, we were entangled within one another, comfortable. I carefully tried to get out of her grasps, and once I did, I replaced my body with a pillow. I checked the time and it was 7:30.

I figured I should get int he shower and get ready for the day ahead of me, practice like always and then coming to Cammies for one last night, god I was going to miss her embrace, her warmth.

I turned on the shower and started thinking. What's going to happen when I leave? Will we still be with each other? Maybe she'll want to come to Ohio with me for a while.

All these things went through my mind. The Olympics were coming up and I need to make the team for that, along with the world cup coming up. I'm going to be so busy with everything, will I have enough time for Cammie?

I washed myself and got out of the shower, and when I did I seen Cammie getting her things together.

"Morning baby girl" I said with a smile, she turned and looked at me with her beautiful smile. "Good morning beautiful " she came over and hugged me. I swear we must've stayed in each others brace for like five minutes.

"I don't want to ruin the moment, but.... I kind of have to get ready for work" she said breaking from my embrace, and gave me a peck on the lips. She went to the bathroom and I assume started to brush her teeth, while singing 'Worth It'. All you could hear was:

"Uh-hu I fee you in da spo lie oohh, I lova yo stye.." I couldn't help but take my phone out and record her.\

"I toll her brin it ba lie she los some'in, brin it, brin it, ba lie she los some'in" I was laughing at this point, and she heard me so she stopped singing and continued getting ready.

When she came out she had no make up, was still wearing her sweats, but her hair was in a messy bun... She looked.... simply gorgeous. I had my mouth open and my gaze was fixated on her. She must've noticed because she looked at me then behind her.

"Is there something on my face or...." I snapped out of whatever trance I was in and I'm pretty sure I was red, but I quickly came back with a line.

"No I was just looking at your gorgeous face, and getting lost in your eyes." Now she was blushing.

"Come on babe get ready I'll drop you off at work today" she smiled and kissed me. "Okay I'll be ready in ten minutes, What time is your practice?" she asked

"It starts at 2 but me, Alex, and Tobin have some meetings to go to." She nodded and went into the bathroom.

"Okay babe I'll see you later, what time do you get off so I can pick you up?" I asked. She took out a piece of paper and was reading.

"Today I work a double shift... so I should be out by 9 the latest" she said getting out of the car and walking to the drivers side.

"Okay then princess I'll see you later, or I'll text you when I get to the meeting" I got out and kissed her. I small moan escaped her lips, as we battled for dominance.

"I gotta go babe, I'll talk to you later" Cammie said giving me one last kiss on my lips. She went into the Employee building with some short guy, well he was about Cammies height, he looked like a little man person. It wasn't until I heard the click of a camera that I snapped out of whatever state I was in. Oh shit it's the paps I thought to myself. I got in my car and drove away. I hope they didn't get a pic og me and Cammie, not that I mind.... It's we haven't really talked about going public.
