Stiles and Lydia quietly walked up the stairs of the Stilinski household, trying not to wake up Sheriff Stilinski.

Stiles led Lydia to his room and sat on the edge the edge of his bed.

Lydia yawned as she tiredly leaned against the doorframe.

"Tired?" Stiles asked, smiling to himself.

She slightly nodded in response and her eyes fluttered. Her head started to lean forward and Stiles chuckled to himself.

Lydia's head snapped back up and her eyes shot open. She immediately saw that Stiles was staring at her and a pink blush warmed her cheeks. She walked over, sat on Stiles' bed, and scanned the room.

Her eyes wondered over several posters of bands and one that simply said 'NERD' and had a cartoon brain on it. She then began to note the things she saw:

A Percy Jackson book on his shelf, a telescope by the window, and a board covered in pictures, words, and red strings.

"What's that?" Lydia squints and points at the 'crime investigation board'.

"Used to be a murder board," He rubbed the back of his neck, "Now it's used to solve supernatural mysteries."

"And the strings?"

"Green is solved, yellow is to be determined, and blue is just pretty." He smiles stupidly at himself.

"And the red?" She raises an eyebrow.

"Unsolved."

"You're only using red." She points out rather obviously.

"Yeah... Well..." He trails off as he writes down, "Sighting of creatures at Anim. Clinic"

He turns back to face her, "So I was thinking-..."

Lydia had already dozed off and was sleeping peacefully on Stiles' tiny little bed.

He smiles cutely at her, admiring how adorable she was no matter what state she was in.

"Alright cutie, time for bed." He smiled as he picked her up and carried her across the hall, only to accidentally smack her head against the doorframe. He winced and whispered his apologies. He then continued to carry her into the guest bedroom. He tucked her in and secretly planted a kiss on her forehead, something he had always wanted to do.

Little did he know that Lydia had awaken the second he accidently hit her head on the doorframe on the way in the room. She appreciated how much he cared. Most guys would keep her there and sleep in the same bed as her, but Stiles was different. He respected her and she loved that. She contemplated saying something, but thought better of it. She didn't want to humiliate him.
