Denni and I enjoyed our Saturday morning door dashing protein breakfast bowls and then spent the afternoon at Starbucks while she worked on SmackDown footage and I drank my body weight in coffee. I organized my calendar for the next couple weeks knowing that my schedule is only going to get more hectic from here, and I have never felt more of a thrill. I also ordered new material for new gear as well... which I've been dying to get my hands on.

Since I haven't actually wrestled these past couple weeks, other than Monday night's little surprise, I haven't made myself new gear in a bit. Which means my inspiration is even better now.

So thankfully Saturday morning's events faded to the back of my mind...

Well, until lunch with Briar and Denni Sunday afternoon.

Briar and I haven't done anything together in far too long, and I'm trying to get back into the rhythm of spending time with my favorite people now that my SummerSlam debut madness has passed. I can't imagine how people in our business manage or prioritize romantic relationships, when balancing others is already a struggle sometimes. Especially with traveling. With NXT you don't have to travel much, if at all. But, part of the business and the job is being on the road, and I'm ready for it. I crave it.

"Shut the fuck up, you went to the gym with the Uso's?!" Briar shrieks semi-quietly.

"No." I hiss at her with wide eyes, glancing around the restaurant before stabbing my lettuce with a fork. She grins ear to ear, tossing a shoulder up. "They followed me to the gym. We did not go together." I correct her while Denni attempts to hold in her giggling fit beside me.

Brair smirks. "Sounds like those two are desperate to hang out with you, C, you should be flattered." I kick her under the table. "Hey! Just saying..." She holds her hands up. "I would love to get my hands on those boys, for their tats." She quickly clarifies as Denni chokes on her drink. "Their work is so beautiful, I would love to add on to it."

I knew she wouldn't be on my side... she loves wrestling too much to not eat up any reaction I encounter.

"Well, if you love that, then you're gonna love who she flirted with on the elevator." Denni teases causing me to groan.

"I was NOT flirting." I bite back.

"What, who?!" Briar's eyes widen as she looks back and forth between Denni and I. "Is it who I think it is?" She leans forward with a devious grin that should be illegal for her to have.
