I ran fast to my secret place, not bothering to shift because when your dad is Alpha you train your body mentally and physically, in wolf form and human form. It was tiring, but the hard work really paid off. I got awesome benefits as well. Sometimes I was allowed to train with the pack and other times I was allowed to lead pack training.
When I got to my place, I checked to see if anyone was lurking around it, then I stripped and shifted when I realized I was alone. I went through a tunnel and was scraped a little, but it was worth it. When the tunnel spit me out, I landed with an 'umph' and rolled over. I raised my head, closed my eyes and opened my muzzle to howl. I heard hundreds of light taps and 'pitter patters' all around. When I opened my eyes I was surrounded by my little furry friends. All the forest animals gathered to greet me once again.
Being in the Alpha family, you receive a special power, being that I'm the next Alpha, I received a few. One in particular allows me to understand and communicate with animals through my mind. I can also feel their pain and take it away, however that's a blessing and a curse because it hurts like hell to feel their pain sometimes. I don't regret it though because it's worth it. Animals are like my loyal companions, and I love them.
I told them I was moving, I might not see them again, but we'll always be connected. Even though we're going to be miles apart, I can still mind link them. Most importantly, I told them I'm going to miss them. They whimpered knowing this may be the last time I see any of them. Layla the squirrel mind linked me saying "We're going to miss you too, Angel. Stay strong, keep your head up, and stay out of trouble, Missy." I giggled, leave it to Layla to be motherly. "Yes, mom." I told her. "I'm serious! And if I hear about any mischief happening in North Carolina, I will personally hunt you down." I laughed and said "I'll behave because I definitely don't want you to try to find me and end up as road kill." She shrieked and threw a nut at me. I muffled my laugh and they all smiled at me, its creepy seeing animals smile, but I can feel their emotions.
They tackled me into a hug and I laughed. They got off when I was next to death, and we said our last farewells. I must seem like a weirdo, but then again, probably not; I'm still in my wolf form anyhow.
I ran to the tree, shifted, and put on my clothes. I took off to the pack house to chill with my gang for a while. There are seven of them and NC is gonna have one hell of a tough time trying to control us, because seven is one hell of a number when it comes to us.
