Choking on a Burger

@We walked on to the outdoor stage side by side and headed for the seven seats. I sat in the middle of my friends, with Stevie and Sky on either sides. We were the only girls not wearing dresses, heels, and too much makeup. We were original, just the way we liked it. When we were seated my father went to the mic beginning his speech. "Welcome pack! I am your current Alpha, however, next weekend we will have another ceremony to announce the new Alpha. Today is all about us coming together like a family because that's what we are. We're going to greet each other, talk, and mingle. All you younginz are gonna need to get along, so to make that happen, my daughter and her friends have prepared speeches. Let's welcome them to the stage," my dad's voice boomed through the crowd and they began applauding while laughing at my father's surprising slang.

I walked to the mic smirking, "Hey peeps! I'm the Alpha's daughter because apparently I don't have a name of my own." Everyone laughed at that and then I continued saying, "If you're wondering the names Angel, but don't let the name fool you, I'm anything but an angel." They laughed again and I giggled, but stopped soon because it was time to get serious, I said I'd apologize and I'm going to. I took a deep breath before glancing at Andrew and continuing, "I promised my best friend that I'd apologize for my previous statements. Look, it was wrong of me to say that to you all when we're probably all a little upset about our situation. I'm really sorry for saying those things, however, I wasn't lying when I said Ima work y'all hard." Everyone laughed as a sense of relief washed over them. "I look forward to spending time with yall, so catch ya later," I finished before stepping out to the front hearing applause.

After I spoke Andrew came up and said, "Sup, the names Andrew and that's my best friend. Uhm, I guess I look forward to training you guys and spending time with yall. See y'all around." Some laughed applauding and others, the girls just gawked at his features. Stevie being her just simply said, "Hey, I'm Stevie." I laughed when they joined me. Sky waved and said, "Skyler's the name and GTA5 is the game." I giggled when she came next to me and high fived her. Then Paul went up and winked saying, "I'm Paul, kinda tall, and I like to ball." I lightly punched him on the shoulder giggling when he came to stand by us. Tyler was next and he said, "I'm Tyler and my twin is Skyler." I shook my head chuckling as he walked to stand by us. Randal walked to mic clearing his throat and said, " My names Randal and Im the flame to the ladies candals." Bruh, I was dying when he walked by us. Lastly, Tony went to mic and said, " I'm Tony and I like bologne... I just wanted to keep the the rhyming going." I chuckled and when he joined us standing, we all held hands bowing hearing applause from all around. We cheesed at the cameras and then we went back to our seats.

After that the elders spoke, my mom spoke, and some representatives of the pack spoke. I suppressed so many yawns my jaw was beginning to hurt. Finally, my dad said the closing words I've been dying to hear, " Bye y'all." I laughed shooting up from my seat and ran off the stage, my friends following closely. We went towards our pack that was partying. After every ceremony the pack holds a little party with food and drinks in the same area. As I was reaching for a burger a voice intruded my thoughts, "Whoah, its the chipotle girl. Remember me?" I turned around and laughed looking at the dude that took my order at chipotle. "Hey, I remember you! I didn't realize you were apart of the pack, wassup?" I said grinning. "Oh nothing much and I was shocked when I last saw you telling off our pack. I mean we totally deserve it in my opinion. Let's just move past that and get along," he said holding out his hand. "Coolio, the names Angel. What's yours?" I asked while shaking his hand. "Alex," he responded and I nodded. We talked for a few minutes before Tony texted me saying, 'Come on loser.' I laughed lookin at the message and told Alex I had to go and I would talk to him later. We exchanged numbers and I headed towards the gang with a half eaten burger in hand.

"Mis amigos, you texted," I said taking a bite out of my burger when I arrived. They laughed at me and Tony said, "Where have you been child?" I giggled telling him, "With an acquaintance named Alex. What you guys been up to?" He shrugged and said, "Talked to some people, ate some food, and looked for you." I laughed hugging him and said, "Awe you guys missed me." We all laughed and I took another bite from my burger when all of a sudden I started choking because of what I saw, or I should say who I saw.
