Jenna and Ed were supposed to get into New York the night of my pre-concert, but the plane had issues and they stopped in Maine for the night, meaning they got there later than my late friend Leo.

As usual, the boys played on their phones - in our hotel room - while Leo and I played thumb war. Leo grunted whilst I not so gracefully pummeled him. Well, his thumb.

"Fine, you win." he sulked and sat on my roll-away bed.

"Yeah," I cheered, "I know!" and sat on a couch.

"We're going out, coffee run. Be right back." Zayn announced.

Leo looked to me in shock. They hadn't spoken for over an hour and suddenly they're leaving together?

I shrugged, "Whatever. Get mine, prety please. Leo, want coffee?"

He shook his head and cringed, "No."

"Suit yourself." Harry shrugged as they walked out.

Leo and I commenced a staring contest. We always played to beat the other to a pulp, never just for fun. The rain outside covered the loud noise of the streets as it beat against the window, but even that wouldn't break our stare. Then the door opened and in came a calm blonde sipping her water, and a nervous red-head with a pile of papers.

"Hey." Jenna held up a hand, waving.

"Hey." Leo and I waved back.

"Ed, what are you doing?" I asked.

He dropped his papers on the floor and sighed, "I have the song!"

I squealed, "Hurry up!" Jenna handed me my guitar and Ed handed me the paper. "Lately I got this feeling

I don't know what's the meaning

But I know it's strong

And it's over you

All I want is to be home with you

Oh ooh oh

I'm coming right back

Ho-ome

Livin' without you is a

Noo Noo

I'm coming right back

Ho-ome"

Ed urged me on, clearly happy with the song.

"I wish you were here

Yeah, I wish you were here

Music is better

And lights are brighter when you are near

Am I making it clear?

The music is better

And right now I just wish you were here

Oh ooh oh

Right now I just wish you were here

Oh ooh oh

Right now I just wish you were here . . . " I played the guitar as Leo and Jenna danced around the room.

"This is where you would stop the guitar and rap, without music." Ed handed me another short paper with the rap on it.

I nodded and smiled, "I can't wait 'til you come back home
