I wanted to hang out with Rowan that day so I texted her.

Me: Alright. Starbucks at 5?

Ok. Something's wrong with Rowan. She didn't seem her normal, quirky self when we texted.

I got ready for our date and put on some dark jeans with a red plaid shirt and some Nike sneakers.

~At Starbucks~

"Hey Rowboat!"

"Hey Pey."

We got our table. And I ordered and hot chocolate. So did Rowan.

"Peyton!" The waitress said. "I'll get it." Rowan said. "Rowan, I got it. I'm your boyfriend. Just sit down and relax." I smiled at her.

When I got our drinks, I thanked the waitress and sat back down. Rowan grabbed her drink. "Thanks Peyton."

"Ok. Rowan, what's bothering you?"

"It's nothing."

"Nothing?" I laughed at that. "How could it be nothing? You haven't looked at me except for 2 seconds. You're not your awkward, quirky self today. What's wrong?"

"Ok. Peyton, why do you love me? Out of all the girls in this world, why me?"

"Because your unique. Your special. One of a kind. And without you...without you I'd be lost. I'd be a lonely soul in a void of loneliness. Without you, without you I wouldn't be Peyton Meyer. I'd be some weirdo that is just a social outcast. Rowan, you are my one and only. I'd die if I didn't have you. Your Rowan Blanchard. Why wouldn't I love you? Your beautiful, smart, quirky, awkward, and soooooooooo many more things that just inspire me to do so many things! I love you SO much Rowan!" By now she was in tears. "That was beautiful Peyton! But, are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Positive?"

"More than anything in the world."

We sat there. Staring at each other. I got lost in her beautiful brown eyes. "That's now my new favorite color."

"What?"

"The brown of your eyes. I love you Rowan. And I would never hurt you or do any negative thing to you."

"I love you too Peyton."
