The Party! Pt. 2

Peyton's POV

When Brad and Sab got back, I talked to Bradley for a second. "Hey man, I really like Rowan. But I really don't know if she loves me back after what Piper did."

"Just trust your gut." "My gut says she hates me!"

"Well then trust your brain." "My brain says she'll never like me again!"

"Well then trust your heart." "My heart says she doesn't want to be with me!!!"

"Well then don't trust anything!!! Except Rowan. Trust her. She'll choose the right thing. So she won't be with you!" He said jokingly.

"Hey!!" "I'm kidding." Yeah...sure. "Hey guys! Whatcha talking about?"

"Oh hey Rowan!! Oh umm...we were talking about sports. Do you know anything about sports?" "No." "Do you know about any sports? You know anything about basketball?"

"Yeah..." "Yeah?" "Yeah." "Yeah? Maybe?"

"Well, we're New York so obviously my favorite team are the Knicks. And ya know, this may not be our best year, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter because we have Melo, we have Phil Jackson and that's all that counts. We shouldn't have traded Jerian Grant! And ya know what? At the end of the day it's not our best season!! We have a terrible record, we're the WORST in the NBA!! I am at Madison Square Garden, I see all these fake fans just jumping on these bandwagons like the...Heat or something like that! And you know what? That is NOT what a true fan is! If you're gonna be in the Garden you better represent the Knicks!!!!"

I blush at Rowan and just sit there, speechless. I move my mouth but no words come out.

"I don't know that much obviously." I laughed. "I really like you Rowan."

"Eh hehe." She laughs.

"What're you losers talking about?" Sabrina came over. "Oh umm...sports." Rowan said.

"Yeah. Sports. Basketball. Knicks. Veeeeerrrrry detailed sports." I said. "Yeeeah..." Rowan said. We both laughed. "What's so funny?" Sabrina asked.

"Oohhhhh...nothin.'" Rowan said.

"Yeah ok." Bradley said.

Then the song See You Again by Wiz Khalifa came on and all four of us said, "THIS IS MY JAM!"

Well, Sabrina and Bradley screamed that out. Rowan and I just said it to each other.

We went to dance and the whole time Rowan and I were singing.

"It's been a long day, without you my friend. And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again." She sang.

"We've come a long way, from where we began. Oh I'll tell you all about it when I see you again." I sang.

"Dang. Who knew? All the planes we flew, good things we been through. That I'll be standing right here talking to you 'bout another path. I know we loved to hit the road and laugh. But something told me that it wouldn't last, had to switch up, look at things different, see the bigger picture. Those were the days, hard work forever pays. Now I see you in a better place (see you in a better place)." We rapped together. "Uh. How can we not talk about family when family's all that we got? Everything I went through you were standing there by my side. And now you gon' be with me for the last ride."
